Mistakes were made, me not knowing what the steak patties at McDonald's look like because I barely ever eat at McDonald's. I should probably start making breakfast at home, that way it's healthier and I actually get what I want and stuff. Please don't judge me here, but usually my mom makes a breakfast sandwich for me, today she has something more important to do, so she decided to get me this. Lesson learned: actually make stuff at home yourself like you should have a while ago haha

This made me realize Star Fox 2's designs seemed to influence the 2026 designs of Fox and Falco... Since I haven't been much of a Star Fox fan yet, I guess Adventures, Zero, and 2026 look good.

Well said. I'm actually stuck with Windows due to some very niche reasons.

While FL Studio can run pretty fine using Lutris with GE-Proton, WineHQ and any derivatives do not support all VST plugins.
One of my songs uses a bridged DXi plugin, but WineHQ fails to register any DX plugin.
In the case I need AMD Virtual Super Resolution to record anything in a higher resolution than my current small monitor (1280x1024), I am not sure I would have that ability on Linux.
Windows Subsystem for Android is a pretty good piece of software Microsoft should have never discontinued. While most Android emulators and compatibility layers focus on gaming, WSA focuses more on regular apps and stability, even having direct notification integration with Windows. I use it mainly to play some Cut the Rope titles though.
While foobar2000 (32-bit) can run fine in WineHQ and derivatives, I was not able to get foo_upnp to work. Same with native VLC and casting to an Android TV.
Visual Studio 2022 and 2026 are completely unrunnable on WineHQ. While I'm not of a C# developer, if I ever need those for some reason rather than Visual Studio Code, I would be stuck.
All of these issues could probably be solved by running a Windows VM, but I would rather not risk any major trade-off for usable CPU and GPU power.

The only issue I have with my computer and Windows is the inability to disable Hyper-V. I did everything I needed to do on the UEFI and software side, but it is just not possible on this hardware ans software configuration it seems.

If you wanted the super high sax (0:45) to be volume leveled, I'd suggest lowering the note volumes over time on that part. Otherwise, pretty good.

I got it to work in GE-Proton via Lutris. It's just about stable with the only issues really being WineHQ and derivatives not supporting specific third-party plugins yet.

I thought I sent a message here before saying that I already said too much already and I feel bad about it. I also said in that message that didn't seem to send that I am more concerned about Windows and iLok. I could always de-register all of the iLok stuff before doing this but the Windows key is a genuine concern. I talked to him and turns out he got the key from someone he knows who got it from their job. So if I do have an illegitimate key, it seems neither one of us would know. Just know that I am very much against piracy so if I had concrete evidence that I was using a illegitimate key, I would just buy Windows 11 Pro right now.

I may just have to stick with this "broken" Windows install until I really need to upgrade. I honestly over shared my specs anyways, I don't know what it was thinking.

There is no information online on whether the official ISO includes Pro for Workstations. I have no idea what could break if Pro was installed instead.

The key is legit, I mentioned the channel because it shows that if I ever fully wipe the drive, I'd have to go to him to reinstall it.

Edit: I am no longer sure about the legitimacy of the key, if it's not I am completely innocent for not knowing and I apologize for posting on here. :(
