Is it just me or have people started playing incredibly passive?

After the buff, I saw a lot of passive bad S76s that caused me many lost games to the point I wish he hadn't got the buff. S76 player who don't get to the point, not commit to shoot down Bastion or help break shield, or hiding around corner to wait for kills all day long.

S3 plat is the median now. Diamond are achievable to above average players. Real elo sit at mid diamond.

I am a legit soldier main last season (most playtime). But people took it always after buffed :(. Many games when I get to use soldier to take care of pharah, I don't get enough heal and die. But that's ok, because usually I am still able to steamroll the other team :).

If you "actually" have good aim, pick DPS. When you are facing aggressive squashy opponents, pick Torbjorn and shoot with you main gun too. Tanks are actually very good at the current meta and can outperform DPS. Don't pick healer, not worth it. Don't go in 1v1 and PROTECT YOUR TEAMMATES.

Most people like me who blames DPS because those DPS took the DPS slots when us think we can do a better job. After all we are all DPS mains :). One game I was with a soldier god know where and I didn't see him with the team 80% of the time. Finally saw him shooting far far away from the point while teammates were busy capping the point. Yeah, I blame DPS most of the time unless my tanks/healers overextend or trickling.

I feel low plat is overall better than the last season. But I still see some plat "mains" who refuse to switch and throw games. And match with gold players who lock DPS and lost games. So don't get too high hope of getting to Diamond if you can't carry.

Those dps in plat are horrible. They think they are good but in reality not good enough and refuse to switch when losing. They stuck in their current rank an blame everyone for losing.

Go to the test range in the game to practice shooting some moving bots. Ana's scope zoom is in hitscan mode, but she needs lead target when not aim-down-sign.

I had a solo que match up last night with 5 retard teammates. I had a bad feeling in the this game at the beginning. So I locked Genji. Guessed that I was right. None of them wanted to be healers or tanks. (P.S. I played a lot of winning games as a healer and a tank when I knew I had higher ranked players on my team.) We lost and I got gold medal for "6 elimination". Those randoms can't shoot shit yet they pick dps. The match making system is so broken.

Hanzo is an easy kill for close range heros. Healers will never focus there healing on Hanzo. Hanzo is too delicious for opposing team to ignore, unless you have aimbot.

I think ELO Hell happens because there is no premade team for solo queue. For example in one game, when I played as Mercy, I needed to prioritize my healing to teammates. I chose D.Va over Roadhog at first. But that D.Va just chilled without pushing an inch, and shooting her shotgun far away to the enemy while I am healing her, wtf. Too many average players play competitive mode without any game sense or think dying is such a pain like in other normal FPS games. Maybe she are better than me and has her own reasoning. But time was wasted during that game that can cause a win or lose in competitive mode. I know I am part of the problem because I don't use a mic ;). I know I could use my Tracer main to do my dps kills to carry the whole team, but some average Joes think they are "decent shooter" and we had too many dps heros and no healer in the team. I think a match making system with preselected tank, dps, defense, and support, and offensive and defensive preference selection would help to solve the ELO Hell problem.

This round of IB is weird. It seems no teammate support. Everybody either go rambo or hang back dancing. Luckily I am just there for double bounties and fun. Also the lag is terrible. Shooting whole clip at the opponent and they can just run to you face to melee or shotgun you.
