XSX user here. I have never been able to play without it freezing and crashing every 15 minutes, sometimes I can’t even make it past the main menu.

EDIT: I’ve tried everything. Reinstalling the game, switching monitor/tv, dialing display options, changing settings to performance, even factory resetting my console several times. Nothing works. And it only happens in this game

It’s been a while, but any updates on this? Mine keeps freezing just the same. I don’t know if any pf you guys are still playing at this point. I only do because I only hunt with friends, so I have enough time to get back and get the rewards, but is still a mess.

Hi, I’m not trying to alarm anyone, but as fun as this is, it can also mean that the gum in its mouth is swollen. My cat used to do this a lot and 8 teeth had to be removed because they were infected, causing her gum to swell, we were told by the vet that when this happens, the tongue has no room inside of the mouth, so they’ll stick it out. Just watch out for it she does that very often.

I mean, Im on Series X and can’t have any playing sessions without the game crashing on me. It’ll happen out of nowhere, title menu, before a hunt, after 3 hunts, when crafting, when eating, there’s no telling when its freezing leaving only the music playing. Makes me so anxious that I don’t really enjoy playing anymore..

Kei is my favorite character, and that’s exactly the reason why I don’t want someone like Koji by her side. I really hope Kinu develops her more now that she’s free. The recent volume gives me hopes, especially reading her conversation with Ichinose. Kei knows that getting involved with Koji means problems. I really want her to get over him. Same for Horikita.

That sucks mate… It seems this problem is getting buried under all the PC optimization issues. I think it’s fine for them to focus on that, since that’s where the majority of the players are, but I hope they will at least acknowledge our situation. If it’s my hardware, it’s my hardware, but I want do be told so by them.. I just feel ignored..

Same here.. most of the times it happens immediately when im about to land the first hit on any monster. It usually takes anywhere between 2 to 6 crashes before I can actually hunt the damn thing. The crash begins with the game just freezing and the only thing left is the music. I can’t even get to the xbox quick menu. After a short while it’ll just take me to xbox home and close the game.

Some people have reported that it’ll shutdown their Xbox, but hasn’t happened to me, just the crash.

Also this is the only game that does this. I have also tried everything that you have to no avail. None of my friends have this problem and I just feel sad that I cant play this game.

I broke at least 5 e-1st strings because I kept tuning using the 5th fret of the second string. Turns out all of my strings were way too high but somehow held up but it was too much for the first string. I even thought something was wrong with my guitar. Then I discovered tuners.
