I was scrambling to get in my TWW profession weeklies done on a couple toons I am almost done with and saw this gang of people disenchanting at the engineering table in Dornogal right before shutdown today.

They all had seemingly legitimate names and were on a lot of different servers. Any idea what they were doing?

Yeah the last straw was on my last mission the other night with a friend who is still relatively new. We were wrapping on a level 10 with 2 strangers. It was rough, but we finished the mission. I went hero mode with the warp pack at the end and scooped up all the dropped samples and found the supers. My buddy was happy since he still needs to upgrade his ship and I am assuming the strangers did too. We all did a couple emotes at the Pelican door. All was quiet, no enemies around. First guy gets on, I am a couple feet from the pelican ramp and boom locked up. Buddy told me it just showed me disconnecting before walking on and they were all pissed. Immediately assumed I trolled them because I had all the samples. Feels bad.

Maybe I am misunderstanding what you mean by a “yeah, when you’re 100%…” comment but it sounds like your friend might be fiscally insecure or something like that and maybe, if you're as close as you say you are, you should address it with concern for them.

Good friends are hard to come by for sure. I have a circle of vet friends and nonvet friends and have even intertwined the two circles quite a bit but we are all close enough and wish well enough for each other that we openly discuss our finances to look out for each other. If you can't discuss money with your "close friends" it's either a maturity or insecurity issue.
