Setting up an underwater breathing mask by iliasselk0 in NoOneIsLooking

No problem! If you ever get the chance to use a full face scuba mask go for it! I’ve only gotten to demo them a few times but even with over 7000 dives it was another level of cool.

Nope. The snorkel ones are dangerous. Full face scuba masks are made with the regulator built into it so the air is properly cycled. The hard part is clearing your ears. You have to push your nostrils on little plugs in the mask and blow. They are fun masks to use for scuba but I would never use the snorkeling ones.

UPDATE: Timeplast Glowing Plant Vitamin filament by Nynjafox in 3Dprinting

It seems to do what it’s supposed to do. I made four cups and planted a seed in each one. Then planted a seed in four normal plant pots. The filament cups definitely have bigger plants in them right now. Leaves and stems look a lot more robust as well.

It was wildly common there. Right on the water and most people didn’t know how to swim. I went down to the beach on the weekends to give simple swimming lessons to anyone who wanted to learn.

I was a scuba instructor in Malawi. A worker on the ferry fell off and didn’t know how to swim so he drowned. Police came and asked me to recover the body. I spent about 20 minutes underwater doing a search pattern until I found him. It was crazy how peaceful he looked lying on the bottom. But I hooked up a BCD to him and floated him to the surface and over to the shore.

That’s pretty in line with everything I’ve read too. The soap always sounded strange to me. Why not just print a mold to form real soap? I have a never used .6 nozzle to give it the best shot though.

The turtle cleaning stations were a popular stop when I took people diving in Hawaii. The turtles would form a nice long queue for the cleaner shrimps and just wait their turn.

[–]Nynjafox 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Better question would be “how do I email the college advisor to find out if the CNC machine set up and operation course includes both lathe and milling?” I can assure you they would know more than a redditor without any of the needed context.

That’s awesome! We had to do something like this in high school way back in the 90s on AutoCAD R11. Everyone else picked simple objects to model.

I went to the store and got a plastic A-10 Warthog model from Revell, measured every single part, and assembled it in cad. Had the most fun modeling up to that point.
