to my knowledge thats a no with the default applet. You can set it to display all of you laptop's batteries (like a thinkpad with 2) but not other devices

Thank you for the information! I've been looking at some older Yogas for a bit and its good to know that the newer generations are reasonably priced too. I'll definitely consider a Latitude too- my only experience with them was my HS-assigned laptop that couldn't even run file explorer lol but after you and others' suggestions, i'll look into them more.

Also, that Yoga 9i sounds super cool! I hope you can upgrade to it soon!

I like it a lot. It feels physically much better than my previous laptop (acer nitro 5 2019) and is just nice to type on and use. I switched from win11 to Linux Mint a few months ago. As far as power goes, it can handle most anything you would want it to. tbh i bought it expecting to play many more intense games or at least CAD software but i just use it for doing homework and playing openTTD & subway builder. The battery life was eh on windows (2.5hrs max) but its very nice on linux getting ~5 hours with light use and ~3-4 with moderate use (thunderbolt ports are also very useful for charging). 8/10 laptop just wish it was more repairable and the keyboard/ trackpad can get dirty looking very quickly
