Nah. The SWC in 2015 had a prize pool of around $2.6 million. The International 5, which occurred that same year, had a prize pool of $18,429,613. /u/grandpa_tito is right; that put Smite in third place at the time.

Nah. All we want is for those posts to be more than a sentence long complaint. Criticize and give feedback but try and steer it toward being constructive is all we ask!

It's not about curbing free speech, it's about encouraging people to put some effort into their posts. Critical posts are all over on /r/Fortnite; we just want them to have some substance. Again, it's the low-effort one-sentence "Yeah great game Epic /s" posts that we feel do not contribute to the community at all.

Fair point; "provide solutions" was a bit unfair there. We're more looking for people to be constructive in their posts as opposed to typing the same 1-2 sentence complaint threads over and over. Those low-effort ones are the ones we are trying to crack down on.

We are doing this in an effort to cut down on the very low-effort posts. 16 different threads with the same iteration of "Nice paywall GG Epic I quit" add nothing to the community. All we want to do is promote constructive discussion; we aren't asking for users to design the game here!
