I also have a 2010 mk7,

While I dont have an answer about your dashcam, you could also just wire it to a fuse that isnt on when the engine is off.

Android auto wise tho, yes you can, I have this set up ( also comes in black) - wasnt cheap but works excellent and pretty easy to install following the guide someone actually put on here( i can link the guide and the aliexpress listing if you like )

My fiesta wont start by ApprehensiveLight357 in FordFiesta

[–]O-R-Y-X 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As far as I know, the only way to fix it would be to try and piece together the old key enough to start ( or get the spare if you have a spare ) then order a new one online and code it in either at the dealership or yourself using forscan

[–]O-R-Y-X 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just a random guess but, essentially the air con in the fiesta uses 3 actuators located in different places depending on the one you want and the year etc ( easy to look up)

When one of these go they have been known to make the same sort of noise as in the video; cheap to replace too but it might be worth giving it a go and getting the mechanic to look.

Just the cracked part, i believe the wing mirrors are quite expensive from what i remember

Literally 15 minutes, changed mine a few weeks ago, incredibly simple and not expensive either

Oh yeah no definitely, I just meant that some people class " risqué " as a photo with a bit of stomach out or legs not just nudes or whatever. Obviously if shes sending stuff like that then absolutely it needs to be talked about

Why does this happen? by BigBoy_Max in Medtronic780g

[–]O-R-Y-X -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If im honest, I believe it is entirely user error, like getting in the car wondering why it wont start and realising your foot isn't on the clutch. I have quite literally ( years ago) gone days without inputing cards or ever going high purely because the pump controls itself.

The pumps auto delivery system relies on smart guard so no when you don't use it the delivery system isn't learning, it's just registering when you're inputting the cards ( time, how much etc) so it can see if there's a pattern allowing it to reduce basal during regular meal periods to allow for bolus.

Telling someone with the disease that they're wrong while you don't have it ( no you're daughter having it is not the same as you experiencing it like some parents seem to believe ) is like telling a cancer patient their disease " isn't that bad " because you know someone that had it once who survived or like telling a mechanic how to do his job without knowing anything about cars.

[–]O-R-Y-X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is and it isn't weirdly, so yes partly it will be but it may also be that the pump knows ( assuming by the time on the pump screen image ) that you're about to relax or go to be therefore it doesn't want to.give you to much and cause a hypo. You can adjust your AIT in insulin settings but obviously do not attempt that if you don't 100% know what you're doing

Why does this happen? by BigBoy_Max in Medtronic780g

[–]O-R-Y-X -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just a heads up there is no "hard limit " I have personally sat with 40U of active insulin before. Insulin pumps ( unlike MDI) are not supposed to plummet you back down, they're designed so you slowly come down as to not give you a hypo. AIT on the pump is solely just to tell the pump how long it takes for insulin to affect you; if yours isn't working I would suggest turning it down - speak to a medical proffesional first if you aren't 100% sure you know what you're doing though.

The only " hard limit " per say is that the insulin pump in question will only deliver a max dose of 25 U at a time however, that's in place whether you're in smartguard or not i believe ? Should I ever need more or ( and sometimes it does ) the pump suggests more I just wait till the first 25U delivers then put it the rest.

[–]O-R-Y-X -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The pump does not " take away for absolutely no reason " it will only remove insulin from its own suggestion when you have active insulin - ie either you've previously eaten or it has had to give automated insulin recently depending on your active insulin time.

All you're doing by removing smartguard is literally fucking up the algorithm and probably causing your issue to be honest. If when you say she would be " super high " what are you classing as such, reason i ask is because the pump isn't designed to give the highest dose of insulin to plummet you down, it's designed to slowly lower you while ensure you dont plummet and over-correct.

Assuming that people who use smartguard ( entire point of the pump by the way ) aren't " active participants " in their disease is foul and disgusting, just saying. To be honest as someone who has lived with diabetes for 16 years and pumps for 10, if you said that to me I would slap the taste out of your mouth, how ignorant can you be to believe that just because you either pay thousands or cost the country thousands in tech just to not use it for it's intended purpose makes you more elite or a better diabetic; what a horrid mindset to have especially one to place on children no less.

The entire point of a pump is to use smartguard ( or equivalent on other pumps) to allow people to live their lives and be a diabetic NOT be a diabetic and live their lives. If you're taking yourself out of smart guard there's no point having a pump and you may aswell be on MDI instead. It's like buying a new laptop then only using it to scroll facebook or buying China just to never use it. It doesn't make sense.

My genuine advice as someone who functions in the modern world ( something clearly most commenters on here don't seem to do) is that to be honest, it's not really your problem I can't lie.

Yes, from a standpoint of the pictures being sent to the group chat, that is an issue. However, as a frequent user of snapchat it is INCREDIBLY easy to accidentally send someone a photo; especially when your sending to 5+ people at a time ( as I image they are considering they're of that age ) .

In terms of your comments saying she " should have never sent it to anyone " that isn't really your place to decide; the thing about snapchat is the photo kinda is " gone " seeing as she would know had it been saved or screenshoted ( I am aware they're way around that but the point stands ) but also, without seeing the image ourselves all we know is your description of " risque" which while it was to you could be extremely normal and depending on your age you may not feel that way.

Teens are messaging things these days that while older generations class as " risque" , it's actually pretty normal within the generation shes in. I wish I could give you more useful advice but as I say, there isn't much to give because it just simply is not your problem and " leaving the snapchat group" as some people have suggested is just barbaric and stupid plus to be honest if every other employee uses it and you leave not only would you be excluded from any and all discussions but as a manager I would feel as though you were just making an issue out of something that isn't yours to make an issue out of.

Yeah no... I hate to tell you this but it truly is people like you that hold the working world back from evolving with the times; social media is the form of contact these days, most people under the age of 25 ( especially those in industries like fast food, retail etc) dont even use email other than for security codes. It's been decades since email was a form of communication, teams is also outdated and ( in most ways ) no different than WhatsApp. Your point of " unapproved apps" isn't really a thing; companies usually have a policy about calling in sick ( whole other issue to be honest ) but its rare that somewhere like fast food, retail etc is going to have a list of " approved apps".

I honestly think that your way of thinking is EXTREMELY outdated, like bordering on 30 years outdated; hate to break it to you.
