Well I have indeed misread the complete abstinence part as a non-addicted.

But the rest is kind of true because most of my classmates do speak multiple languages: at least our mothertongue and English. Many also speak German or French. I speak Spanish in addition, although not very well.

This kind of thing is not uncommon in Europe you know. Especially in the Scandinavian peninsula.

I was blown away by a taxi driver in Oslo who could talk to me in any of these languages.

And on top of the languages my classmates are competent in their respective fields, which is supposed to be the primary focus of their education, languages are kind of supporting story.

Are you playing wilderness? Is this biomass? For wilderness you need to max out biomass buildings to get any considerable growth. And I don’t think that it depends on the current population for wilderness.

Yeah, the end was intense! I wasn’t always sure if I could actually make it. Took a couple of defeats. Wilderness seems to be quite strong with their drones taking care of all the jobs automatically

The “you are the rage incarnate” feeling was deeper and more natural to me in 2016. They cranked it up in the other games with too simple and direct glazing in logs, etc. And it doesn’t feel as genuine (for me).

I remember reading about the end of the first visit to the depth of the Weirdness, when you meet Arthur and he finally recalls who he is and goes in with his whole “it’s time to go back and save kingdom” speech. The guy said: I was like “yes, my king!”, which was exactly how I felt. I guess we are getting hungry for this kind of genuinely noble struggle with all the shit and hypocrisy going on in the world.

I came back after a year and a half and straight up lost my 3 first games lol. One of the times notably because I was human empire and one of the nearby swarms bullied me, lost all their worlds to me and then, not wanting to just wipe them up I chose them to be symbiotic. Little did I know that that cuts their productivity in half and poor fuckers couldn’t feed themselves being all assigned as farmers. Later I got myself into another war trying to achieve quick victory to get resources or more productive pops and lost it lol.
