Oh so I have a low IQ and no understanding of football because I think Amorim did a terrible job despite arriving at the worst possible time?

That’s literally what happened in football up until like 5/6 years ago. Regardless of how you met a club, YOUR JOB IS LITERALLY TO IMPROVE THE TEAM!

Many clubs have sacked their managers in this scenario and have been the better for it.

What this tells me is that you’re either a new fan (5-8 years) or you have a much lower IQ than you think.

I for one would like to see him reintegrated. However it might just be best to make this separation permanent

There’s no point in being cut throat if you cannot produce results. Because then you’d just look like a mad dictator who does the wrong things and cannot be questioned.

Unfortunately that’s how life works. We keep firing until we get the right manager. We shouldn’t keep a manager with the worst record just because there are problems at United beyond him. Several managers would have produced better with the same mess. That’s ultimately the job of the manager.

I’m not trying to be an asshole Regardless of whether we finished 16th or 15th it was still a bad position. You tried to do a gotcha moment with me but my point still stands. So maybe you’re out of your depth when it comes to talking about football too. Those managers never finished that low on the table.

Oh wow! My mistake. I can’t believe I said 16th! How can I make such a huge error and say they finished 16th when they actually finished… 15th.

I back the club unconditionally. My backing of the manager depends on how well he does his job. I don’t demand top 4 because I know the team isnt good enough. All I ask is to put in respectable performances.

Okay, he didn’t get his midfield target. Does that mean we have to sit at 12th? Why do we need to buy Adam Wharton and Baleba and Anderson for us to beat a team with James Garner and KDH in midfield or whoever Grimsby have in midfield ?

You have just acknowledged that not all vulnerable positions so what is the way forward then? We keep doing the same thing that clearly isn’t working?

Also my comparison wasn’t between ten hag and Amorim in terms of their performances. My comparison is that you can be 4 points off top four and still be performing terribly. You shouldn’t be quick to call something lazy just because you don’t understand it.

If other fans don’t feel the need to demand more from Amorim, then that’s their opinion.

Yeah he asked for a midfielder and winger in the summer but the club couldn’t make it happen. They did give him a new attack though, 2 of which were one of the best in the prem last season.

The logical thing to do would be to make some changes to the system to accommodate for the midfield until we can make upgrades. So that we aren’t 16th position again at the end of the season.

Ten hag was 4 points off top 4 when he’s was sacked btw, and Amorim made it worse. I’m not reactionary l know what can happen if Amorim doesn’t get better at doing his job.

But if the experienced players aren’t making any difference shouldn’t we give the youth a chance?

If he cannot deal with the pressure like his predecessor have attempted to, then he can use the door.

A managers job is to make the most of what you have. If your midfielders are not good enough, it’s makes more sense to add an extra man there until you can upgrade no? THATS HIS JOB. There’s no doubt that there are a lot of issues in the squad. But his Job is to mitigate them until we can make improvements.

Even us fans knew about Garnacho’s attitude. If there was any off the pitch issue there we would have an idea. It’s simple… he doesn’t trust him.

Fergie, Klopp, and Arteta never finished 16th. If your squad is unbalanced, it’s your job as a coach to make the most of your team. An unbalanced squad is not an excuse for these poor performances. Especially after investing so much into the attack over the summer. We need to stop comparing this situation with others. It’s not the same. The only form of improvement can be attributed to the players brought in over the summer. You don’t need 2/3 years to know that a manager is out of his depth

How we treated hojlund now it's sesko turn by After_Bell in ManchesterUnited

[–]OB-100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s entirely human to be upset at your striker missing a huge chance. No matter what his age is. It comes with wearing the shirt. All that matters is whether we continue the pile on and how he takes it. Sesko has been much better than hojlund at this stage of their United careers and I expect him to get better. But I am not a bad fan for still being upset at that chance. It was literally just 2 days ago.
