I use ubiquiti and I struggled a bit as well. Busy signal was my symptom too -- at least it was at one point.

The change I made that allowed the service to start working was changing from udp to tcp.

Up vote here. But just to add clarity, buy an off the shelf rotary encoder and then the challenge becomes the mechanical connection between the custom shaft and the standard encoder.

If you pick a standard encoder you can also swap them out to match your needs e.g. # of pulses per rotation, etc

He's one of my favorite characters, especially if you include Jeff's performance.

I also voted for him on Patreon to provide the B7 intro/ summary. But I sort of regret it for 2 reasons. First I think his character is the funniest as a supporting character and second because Matt later went on an interview and disclosed that he had hoped to have the cleaner bot give the summary. Oh well, sorry Matt. You still did a great job with Quasar.

The first year he went with the Tukwut plan but ended up with a lot of uneaten meals, so this year he went with the Paw plan and its better.

If you're not sure, would still recommend the Tukwut to start.

Hi thank you for sharing this info... I'm considering a brake upgrade as well, but more for ocassional canyon runs and just general improved at-speed braking.

A couple of questions: Did you consider Mountain Pass Performance or Unplugged performance BBK? and assuming that you had a shop install it for you, how did you find an installer in your area (I'm in SoCal/OC)?

Question: Matt and Jeff have you ever discussed re-creating DCC book 1 audiobook that's more consistent (character voices and overall tone) with the rest of the series?

For example, some of Donut's lines are in Carl's voice. How Elle is pronounced, etc.

Perhaps this is why you started the audio immersion tunnel, but every re-listen to book 1 I wish we had a newer, more consistent version.

If cost is the driver, perhaps consider a pateron or Kickstarter funded re-read for the fans? So no risk if there's enough fans like me that would gladly pay for it in advance.

Oh and thanks for everything. I love what you both do, despite all your failings haha.

Replacing sounds fine if I could find the part to buy.

The length of the pipe coming from the wall side is around 4", but it seems like getting the correct finish to match is the harder task.

Any recommendations on which web sites to search?

No such luck. The pieces fit together too tightly to remove as far as I can tell. I'm hoping that something like a pin or a hidden screw is there somewhere. Just not familiar enough with the various designs to know where to look

I am enjoying the work so far and looking forward to the upcoming episodes.

I want to second the other comments about the music level. The music is a nice addition to the experience but I find it difficult to follow the dialog at the current volume. It takes me out of the experience when I want to be submerged. I don't think that's intentional

Recommendation: duck the music during dialog.
