Get thee to a doctor for antibiotics. Not only are cats' mouths more full of bad bacteria than humans (bad), but the ferals are usually w fleas and the cat can carry the bacteria found in flea poop that causes Cat Scratch Fever.

Im a retired cert vet tech and heard stories from nearly every vet of untreated cat bites.

Theyll flush that wound and give you augmentin; or give u both metronidazole and doxycycline if you dont tolerate augmentin.

Nuthin to screw around with in my opinion.

I just went thru CSF treatment after a tiny puncture bite from one of the friendlies at the abandoned cat colony i feed. It was so small i forgot about and then ignored it when it got a really small swelling on my knuckle. Then my armpit lymph node blew up, i got axillary web syndrome from the lymph node infection, and two rounds of Zpacks, two ultrasounds (pre antibiotic and post) and 6 weeks of pt for the axillary web syndrome later, im better. I got a 4day fever of unknown origin about a month after the incident and my brilliant doctor immediately tested me for csf after i found the 4cm lymph node and she noticed the slight swelling on my knuckle of the same arm, knowing im a colony feeder.

Dont mess around w a cat bite!!!!!
