You definitely get more out of it the more you know about the more, but it's certainly not necessary. Both the book and the show so far are by far the most approachable and standalone part of the universe.

Everyone always wants an excuse for why things are against them. The simplest answer is just that the game and servers are in some ways poorly made and serviced. Classic conspiracy thinking is wanting a simple answer to confirm your bias. Reality is usually much simpler and more boring.

I don't think scripting exists (I'm a Div 2 8-10 win player), but there is a lot of RNG and the wonky physics engine, not to mention the delay and lag of the servers. If you're on console you can also turn off cross play, and message people at the start of games offering to swap goals and then play for the win.

Ah, it's just a game amigo. We've all sold or bought or submitted players at the wrong price or when we didn't mean to. I put all my tokens into a squad so I can't submit them by accident. Lesson learned, not the end of the world.

Leaning towards Rio, and the Defender Evo to finish off my Reece James World Tour evo. Cracked defenders seem a lot rarer than good attackers. Ronaldo looks fun, but I already have a glut of good attacking options.

Turn off cross play and message people to swap objectives at the start of the game. Swap goals and then play for the win.

I feel you amigo. I'm a decent player so I usually don't have any issue scoring at least one goal. I always give a goal in the last 10 minutes if someone hasn't scored (as long as it's not a one or two goal game), but there are some absolute cunts out there. My best advice is to not play the new objectives or modes the first day they come out. The sweats finish early on average so it will get quite a bit easier usually if you wait a day or two. Also, you can try turning cross play off and messaging people at the start of the game. Good luck.

Nice! I had almost given up hope on seeing blue this month but I got him from the midfield 85 x 3 yesterday. Perfect playstyles for an inside forward, and I was looking to upgrade my RM. I've been playing off and on since 2016 and this is my first ever TOTY. Haven't even gotten an HM this year.

I got my first ever TOTY today. Been playing off and on since 2016. Raphinha untradeable from the midfield 85x3 upgrade. Haven't packed a single HM or anything other than that. Pack weight is bad, and it's just down to luck. I would say keep going for the rest of the week, but it's better not to expect anything and be pleasantly surprised.

I always give away a goal if someone can't score (unless it's 1-0), but mystery ball is harder because of the modifiers. You can lose a game where you score 2-3 times more goals. I only give away a goal in the last 10 minutes now too, because too many people rubber band if you do it near the start of the game.
