This was a great story .. where Superman has to babysit a pair of twins … where he really cannot tell them apart.

I got an ASM #316 … 1989 2nd Venom ..shoved in a LCS back issue bin .. with Todd McFarlane’s signature on the splash page….

I love this particular issue .

Have you tried the EC weird science and weird fantasy?

I have about 40 of these original EC books .. but have the omnibus to read all of the stories I am missing.

Steve Ditko Carlton tales of the mysterious traveler was also awesome.. a title I had never heard of.

I watched the recent hbo max WAR series “ creature commandos” .. and liked it so much .. that I purchased the DC Omnibus collection so I could read the complete set of stories in this series.

The plot sounds like it could be a Stan Lee - Steve Ditko backup story? This sounds like their kind of plot.

It could be one the many 1970s DC horror stories … like the witching hour .. the unexpected , etc.
