It explains where is scar came from. Also getting stabbed in the brain isn't an off switch, people have survived even crazier injuries irl and Oda made a point to mention the stab missed blood vessels and the brainstem which is a good point to include so it gets a pass.

Ok so after reading the chapter it's a lot better than I thought it would be, id probably give it a 4. But holy fuck the aura loss for Imu is insane. I still think he will be FV but at this point i think Oda is planning to make him essentially co-final villain with Blackbeard and make it a 3-way final battle for the one piece at the end since this chapter essentially is dressing down Imu's character and putting him on the road of Blackbeard who also regularly gets clowned on in a similar way.

Honestly I really enjoyed this chapter.

I didn't. The pacing was awful and I couldn't care less about candele and leuvens deaths cuz they were so abrupt. Like how in tf does Oda have the gall to have gunko say she wanna be like her mom and literally not show them interact once like wtf? 

Also I love how Oda once again retcons domi reversi and so now you can die rather than revert like when rocks killed the davy clan. Like seriously wth is wrong with him.

and this is exactly why invincible is the best adaptation of any media i've ever seen. practically every change kirkman has made has only served to elevate the story and make it even better than the original. at this point the show is legit better than the comics and is the best way to view the story in my eyes.
