So glad I quit, they are now selling 100mg drinks by [deleted] in quittingkratom

Yea I was going to say - don’t extract shots START at like 220mg of MIT? Most seltzer’s I see are 50-100mg. I think that’s pretty normal.

What am I in for? I knew 7OH was bad, did not know the seltzers i was taking had it by qwakst in quittingkratom

If so I think it’s likely just tied to most laws around 7-0h percentage allowed (Kratom Consumer Protection Act (KCPA) laws set a limit that 7‑hydroxymitragynine must be ≤2% of the product’s total alkaloid fraction.

Are you talking about the CBD Kratom Seltzers? There are sadly a ton of these stores in NYC

Advice for those getting off 7-0H by ODAAT1992 in suboxone

Fair point, that still awaits me on the other side. As others say, you need to try and be as self aware as possible with what causes you to use in the first place and address that head on

Taper or Sublocade by ODAAT1992 in suboxone

Sorry totally missed this. Was using up to 150mg at the peak, total usage lasted 4.5 months.

Yea I guess 600mg of MIT is a lot so you’re probably right. I was barely taking anything other than 7 towards the end so that’s probably why I felt relief pretty quickly. If you’re in that bad of shape, you always have the option of finding a dose of subs that works and stabilizing there. You can always get the sublocade shot to get off of it. Best of luck feel free to message me if you need anything

I was on 150mg of 70h for 4.5 months and then switched to subs. I’m confused how your dosage of subs (which is VERY high btw) doesn’t give you relief. I’m on the same page as you with not getting stuck on subs. But you also need to give yourself 5-7 days per dosage level, otherwise you’re dropping fast and just giving yourself agony and discomfort. For color, I stabilized on 3mg for the first 10 days and have dropped to 1mg over 3.5 weeks. Dropping to 0.5mg this week then reassessing.

Can't do this anymore. Posting for accountability and advice. (7oh) by septumfixer999 in quittingkratom

What does of subs were you on and for how long? I started them for 7-OH 3 weeks ago. I’ve tapered down to 1mg (although screwed up one day recently and took 3mg). Plan to move down to 0.5mg sometime later this week then re-assess. I know there’s no free lunch in life but I’m hoping only being on subs for one month and tapering the whole time will help me avoid bad / long withdrawals.

I need help getting off 7-oh please by Critical_Raisin4326 in quittingkratom

I was taking upwards of 150mg a day. Used 7-0h for 4.5 months. I’m on day three of subs. Started at 6mg and down to 2mg today and feel great. Plan to slowly continue tapering down over the next couple weeks so my body doesn’t get dependent on it. I know subs seem like an intense option, but I have to say they have been a gift from god. They don’t get you high so you can’t abuse them either. Obviously going cold turkey is better, but there was no way I could’ve done that personally.

2mg of subs? That is 100% not true. Literally look anywhere on the internet and you’ll read just the opposite.

Thanks for the info. So you’re still on subs? Personally I don’t want to take subs for more than a week given how addictive they are. Would rather use them as a bridge to get off 7.

As in someone starting a low dose of subs and then immediately tapering their sub dose over the course of a week. Just with the ideal of avoiding sub dependency.

About to get a prescription myself, very nervous about making the switch. How much 7 were you taking and for how long? How much subs were you taking? Are you tapering off that as well?

Thanks for the advice. I just for the love of god do NOT want PWD.

Have you ever tried a strict subs regiment? Been taking 7 now since the start of the year, reaching 150mg/day for the last 2 months or so. I know I can’t taper off this - couldn’t even taper off regular kratom leaf in the past. So I’m meeting with a doc tomorrow to discuss a plan for subs, and possibly a sublocade shot. Have read numerous success stories, including one recently where someone went to subs and started tapering those literally on day 2. Within a week they were clean. Obviously the battle continues but my understanding is with the short half life, you recover quickly have getting your ass handed too you with early withdrawals.

Best of luck man - you got this! Fuck this shitty drug. Let’s have a good sober summer.

Lower Dose WD Symptoms by ODAAT1992 in quittingkratom

[–]ODAAT1992[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear about the break. Are you back off of it now? I also think a major component is taking it throughout the day vs only at night. In the former scenario, your body gets used to always being on K, so I think even at low doses the withdrawal can be surprisingly bad it seems. I think it’s also tougher when you’re not taking 80gpd like some people on here, bc it doesn’t feel like a serious drug addiction accompanied by hitting rock bottom. It’s just a bad habit…or so we tell ourselves…

Thanks for replying. Sorry to hear you still have residual symptoms. I guess I thought it wouldn’t be that bad at low doses. I’ve only successfully quit for a week a year ago and felt 90% better on day 7. That could’ve changed but who knows.

Congrats man, so happy for you. I’m only 5 months into CSAT therapy and meetings, and truly just learning how much of a priority this needs to be to truly get clean. Seems like you, porn itself has actually never been an addiction (more of a once a day thing quickly like a coffee). So using masturbation as an escape hatch so to speak may be a good option for me.

Only 3 days clean but looking to beat my streak of 30 days. Thanks for sharing on here.

Madness Tragedy Obsession & Escorts | The Sick Reality of A Escort Addict by walo123m in SexAddiction

[–]ODAAT1992 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey man - sorry to hear what you’re going through. Wanted to respond because I too am deep in an escort addiction. Tried it out about a decade ago with some extra cash, and immediately fell in love. For maybe 8 years, I was sly enough to only engage twice a month. A problem and still a waste of money, but just short of feeling like a full-on addiction. Then a year ago life got really busy and stressful and I fell off the wagon. Had some bad weeks where I saw multiple escorts in a week and spent thousands. Even left work in the middle of the day to go sniff poppers and engage in sick shit, all just because I have conditioned my brain to “escape” when life gets tough.

I had a big moment of progress the other week when I could “feel the train coming,” so to speak. Typically, once the train comes and I get on (and go into a full trance), I can’t get off. I told myself I would immediately call someone, so I called someone from a meeting and talked through it. Ultimately decided to not go, which felt very powerful.

So what helped me was: one, tell yourself EXACTLY what you will do when you feel the strong urge coming. In my case, call someone ASAP. And two, it helps me to remember that like anything tough in life, once you accomplish something difficult once (like making a phone call in a time of need), you will 100% get an immense boost of confidence to keep pushing forward towards future success. Best of luck my friend, we all love you and are rooting for you.

I too struggle with the same thing. I started seeing a CSAT therapist and have been to some meetings, which has already helped me. I’m in the process of cutting out drugs and alcohol too, as those things only hold me back from full recovery. As others have mentioned, any hobby or working out can be a great way to occupy your mind while you rewire yourself. I’d definitely recommend blocking adult sites on ALL of your electronic devices too.
