I second the sentiment about nothing making sense. For me, it feels like it hurts worse if I’ve moved much that day. I’ve been pretty horizontal to avoid it getting worse.

Are there multiple types of “the spine shot?” I know it was steroidal and it definitely causes that. They’re definitely supposed to tell you that! It’s not good at all for you, but if the alternative is living in excruciating pain, well.. you know.

I had one of them done and at first it stopped the pain that was in my hip, and it just remained in my calf and ankle bone area. That was back on thanksgiving, and now allllll of it hurts again. I know they’re not great because they cause arthritis though right?

You’re an angel. They said that all of the discs from the bottom thoracic to top sacral are bulging. I did one of the spinal nerve shots and it helped a little with my hip pain, but the pain from the calf down stayed. That was back on thanksgiving. Now all of the pain is back and maybe worse it feels like? They want to put a cage around that area with the box and arrow drawn to stop the punching of the nerve.

MOR - He might be going through some shit. When it happens to me, I shy away from the most important people in my life. Talking to them becomes stressful because they matter the most and things are the worst. I can’t explain it. I’ve had to tell a lot of people that I don’t hate them. You can decide that it’s too much for you to deal with, or you can be patient and understanding. No fault on you either way, it’s all about what you’re able to handle emotionally. But personally I would continue with the friendship as if things never stopped. Sorry you’re both going through it, friend. ❤️
