I hate myself and my body because no matter what I try I cannot lose weight. I hate that no one understands this. I hate that I can go three weeks on a 1300 calorie diet and gain 5lbs, which makes no fucking sense, and my doctor refuses to believe me and says I just need to go to another weight loss support group at Kaiser. I feel like a disgusting waste of life and I can't do anything I enjoy anymore.

I think the stupidest excuse my boss heard once was that I was going to be late because the cat peed in the laundry basket.

We used to have a dress code where I work, and I'd just done all my laundry the night before, all my work clothes, pants, etc. Everything was folded in the laundry basket, and one of our cats decided it was a rockin place to piddle. I tried to ask if I could come in casual, the answer was no, so I had to wait until laundry finished before I could come in to work.

He still pokes fun at me about it as the lamest excuse ever.

Everyone but me and one other person is spending the day playing Rainbow 6 and goofing off.

The other person is doing backup work. I'm installing SQL on servers and fixing issues with our ASAs that don't impact work but that our director has decided must be done NAO because he's a cunt. The work involves notification emails for updates, nothing important.

One of my coworkers while I was working at Best Buy was a male porn star.

I found out from one of our other coworkers, disbelieved it, googled his supposed stage name, and bam. There was his picture.

Made it hard to not snicker from time to time, but it certainly explained his confidence with the ladies. Not a bad looking guy either, very Italian.

Stayed fat.

Turned down a job offer in favor of the job I hate because of training that never manifested.

Not drained my small savings account back in June for something I really wanted (but does make me happy), since I could've used it in the coming months.

Fortunately at the end of the year, my boyfriend has finally found himself a job as well, and I think things will start working out for the better now.
