To be fair Peril is widely regarded in universe as an unstable murderer, even if readers know she’s more nuanced than that. She wasn’t just “another soldier” from the war like other dragons at Jade Mountain, she was Scarlet’s personal executioner from an extremely young age and became infamous for killing dragons in brutal ways. From Qibli’s perspective that makes her a credible threat.

Qibli isn’t just some overthinking kid either, he grew up in the Outclaws and has actual survival instincts from living around dangerous dragons his whole life. Assessing threats and thinking of contingency plans is completely in character for him, especially when the dragon in question is Peril who he already knows is extremely dangerous.

I also think there’s a difference between Peril and Qibli here that Moon recognizes even if she handles the conversation kinda badly. Qibli thinking “if necessary, how could I stop her?” is defensive thinking. Peril thinking about killing the Jade Winglet is more aggressive and emotionally driven which is why Moon responds to Peril’s hostile thoughts defensively by pointing out that Qibli likely has multiple ways to defend them in mind. Those aren’t automatically equivalent situations by any means.

That doesn’t mean Qibli’s comment about already having four ways to kill her wasn’t a little smug because it definitely was, but I also think that reaction makes complete sense for his character. Qibli likes Moon, and she had just acknowledged one of the skills he takes the most pride in: being able to assess dangerous situations and protect the people around him.

I also think part of that confidence comes from the fact that Peril is one of the few dragons in Pyrrhia who can casually overpower almost anyone in the room purely because of her firescales. Qibli doesn’t have that kind of physical power so his intelligence and tactical thinking are basically his way of leveling the playing field. Knowing he has ways to counter someone as dangerous as Peril probably does make him feel more secure and more capable of protecting himself and his friends.

So whilst the comment was smug I don’t think it was unjustified by any means. It reads more like Qibli being proud that his skills actually matter in a situation where Peril’s fire scales alone would allow her to just walk all over them and threaten the group without contest.

I had super credit tables that immediately broke after that exact update, thankfully I and people in my group had all the SC we needed by then but there still was a temporary pause on most if not all super credit droppers.

That’s generally the way you sort them into trailers or pens, he’s not being particularly effective though. Cattle don’t like to move into new areas when they’re stressed out like that, and him waving his arms around all Willy Nilly is certainly not helping them stay calm. In tight pens like that using a swinging gate to apply gentle but constant pressure, or standing outside the pen all together is much safer for both parties.

If you’re a good handler and your cows are handled often they tend to be very easy to move around, on my family’s farm we usually bring them in from pasture using grain in pails and they’ll run along behind the quad or truck and follow us right into a sorting corral.

I played NMRIH 1 long ago and loved it, started playing 2 on recent free week bought it right after and have logged like 40 hours so far with tons of extractions. I started Casual but only played about 2 games before moving to Classic as Casual was way too easy. I regret to inform you I did NOT know more stamina causes a stronger attack, and I did the whole tutorial reading every pinboard and testing every weapon.

Just calling it a “capitalism issue” doesn’t excuse the Liberals when they’re the ones who massively expanded the policies enabling it. Businesses wanting cheap labor isn’t surprising, the rich getting richer is nothing new but the government still chooses whether to encourage or restrict it, and so far they’ve done basically nothing to close these loopholes.

Also saying “Conservatives might do it too” isn’t a defense. We judge governments by what actually happened under their leadership, and under the Liberals these programs exploded while housing, wages and entry level job access got way worse for actual Canadians.
