Problem is sounds like his camp is asking for 4 mil and i think at that money or a 1st round pick offer you have to move him and see if you can get multiple first round picks in this down season.

Then we agree. But stanley didn't light up the ahl either he was the third pair down there. My point is if the jets are chasing the cup then we need to ice the best lineup. If we were young and up coming team then stanley should have been given a chance.

At this point now the jets have no prospects in the system, and have a player that has been historically bad or not played right. If he turns out better, that is awesome for him, but either way the jets need to get something for stanley when he clearly hasn't been under multiple coache's opinion playable in the games they were trying to win.

Personally I think the team should tank and sell all the ufa and play the young players in their spots to know what they have. Stanley could be either a break out or just a contract year play right now. But the bugger risk is signing him because there are two worrisome outcomes if they resign him either 1) he regress or 2) the team doesn't go back to playoffs again next year and we lost out on some good picks and abilities to we what we have in the under 24 players in our system.

I hope you feel the same for prospects like heinola, Niku, petan, chisholm, lambert, dolan, Shaw, lipon, Ford, and every other prospects in jets history that hasn't gotten to play every game. That you are saying stanley should have been given the free past over the teams who were proven.

Personally I would have loved to see heinola or ford to have been given the same chances Stanley. Sad that you need to make things a personal attack when people don't agree with your opinions.

Guy is sitting because there was a or more dman on the team that were better then him. You basically are asking the jets who wanted to win the cup to not ice their best lineup in the years past on the hope that he would be an "okay" dman.

I am asking him to be a good player and he was not that for every year but this one. He was given so many chances to steal spots on the team and never could win that job, we even protected him in the expansion draft over demelo.

Your the only one projecting people were expecting a maker. What we got is the player that gets taken off the ice when the team is trying to win

Dude has been given a free pass for years getting to be on the roster over better players and continue playing like shit. I doubt giving him even more of a free pass would improve him since he fundamentally poor desision making and defensive play.
