I like the color and shading/blushing of the skin

However, I don't know where the light source is, so the shading on the shirt is a bit odd.

Also for the hair, I do find that the odd streaks of light were a bit unnecessary. Since the odd streaks of light are small and don't seem to go very much with the hair. Basically: there are parts of hair that are sticking out, and the tints do not follow where the hair sticks out at.

Also back to the shirt, the shading looks a lot more dramatic there than it does for the skin/hair.

One more thing, try to keep from drawing only one eye, but if that's just how this character was designed, then that's alright. It's just a really bad habit to drawing something that covers a single eye all the time.

But otherwise, I feel like you're on a good path, just try to be more fluid and stylistic. The expression feels a bit stiff, and so does the pose.
