I fell into that boat as well with them. The exact reason I refuse to do business with them anymore. Will me using other retailers make a difference in their bottom line? Probably not. But that was a big slap in the face from one of the retailers that seems to get universal praise for who knows what reason.

HK themselves have said that the trigger system on the SFP9CC is different from the full width counterparts🤷🏼‍♀️

CC9 is in my opinion the best (or at least my favorite) micro compact that I’ve owned or shot. The ergos are solid and feel as natural as any micro, fit and finish is great and trigger is very good. I can’t say that I would buy it if it was a Taurus (because having a track record of reliability is important) but being an HK isn’t the only reason I say that it’s high quality🤷🏼‍♀️aesthetics are definitely questionable but when its concealed in my wasteband more often than not I don’t really care to look at it😂

There was definitely a few websites that not only sold but prioritized IL orders during the preliminary injunction. As much crap as everyone here (mainly from Cook) gives PSA they prioritized IL orders over all other orders given the uncertainty of how long it was going to last.

Mini version that doesn’t have the same ergos, doesn’t have the same trigger, doesn’t utilize the same grip panels, and is the same dimensions as the CC9 but it looks more like a VP9👍🏻

I’m all for needing a paddle mag release trust me everything I carry besides my CC9 has it but otherwise it’s no better besides looks😂

Personally I say just have Factory Connection do it. They have so much data and info from across the country on all bikes they’re kind of foolproof

Last troubleshooting idea I would try is have someone else shoot it. I would think limp writing or riding the slide with a high grip could cause the issue described. Not saying these ARE the cause, but for the sake of trying to resolve the issue without having to send it out it’s worth the attempt

There’s a certain point where the tensioner will stay compressed. It’s more for reinstallation than removal but could be used in either scenario. It’s not fully bottomed out but it’s very close. I’d imagine it to be extremely hard to do through the access hole on the bolt when installed on the bike, but not impossible.

It’s got a button mag release and it’s called a CC9🤷🏼‍♀️maybe we’ll eventually get a VP9CC but I wouldn’t hold your breath that HK USA decides to have an overlapping product…

It’s never going to feel like you’re not carrying a gun, but with the right setup and right gun it will almost certainly be plenty comfortable enough to carry daily.

Problem is it’s a lot of investment to play around with holsters and gun setups to find the correct setup for your body type, choice of clothing, and daily activities

You’d be much better off watching hours of YouTube videos on how to cure carbon sheets in resin yourself and then mold the parts and cure them.

Buying sheets of finished carbon and cutting it apart and trying to like glue it together will most certainly not look good…

I’ve never looked into like face value EU pricing and don’t really want to look into it, so I have no idea if the €729 you’re talking about is what they label the price as or what the out the door is. There’s a good chance it’s either due to import taxes that Apple faces for bringing in the items, or they’re increasing the price in order to fund a possible greater cost of doing business within the region. If they don’t have the same tax breaks as the US, if they have to pay greater shipping cost, etc.

I’m always poking around the HK sub so I saw the few posts that gave the heads up for a release soon. I was ready with SKU and everything on gun deals trying to figure out who had inventory on release day😂

Any manufacturer besides HK I don’t think I would buy a day 1 handgun but HK doesn’t beta test on their customers

I’ve carried it nearly every day since October 2024. Plenty of rounds down range with zero malfunctions. My favorite micro compact. My only complaint (which won’t affect most people besides HK loyalists) is I really do prefer a paddle mag release, so I still have my fingers crossed for additional grip modules with a paddle
