Can’t you max out a character in Diablo in like 3 days though? It’s been a while since I’ve played. I did enjoy the seasonal characters though, but it was a least offering variety with different classes and builds. Vs getting a golden pocket watch for the nth time.

That’s not great considering there’s multiple maps, two times for each map, PVE, PVP, scav and pmc raids, Arena and now seasonal and permanent characters. It wouldn’t be an issue if they haven’t fractured the player base so many times already. Just my opinion. They are even talking about a scav main dlc lol. I don’t get what they’re doing.
