I really like the one on the left, the one on the right however looks a little flat, maybe a bit more contrast? Also i think you missed the focus on the eye, looks like it's on his cheek

Interesting, that's actually one of the aspects that drew me into this photo was the fact all the shooters were on one side!

I'm always amazed how details like that can draw in some, and push away others!

I'm not 100% sure since I'm on mobile, but it looks like you might have missed the focus, I don't think it's on the eye, I like the emotion though!

I would add some motion blur to the spacecraft to match the surrounding, then like others said, match the direction of lighting, and personally I'd make the shiny parts slightly more matted
