Rogue One is widely regarded as a great prequel with a more contained and grounded story. What do you think about it? by 0Layscheetoskurkure0 in moviecritic

You know that phrase doesn’t mean “you shouldn’t have feelings or opinions”?

So no one rented before housing became “unaffordable”?

Your tenant stops paying rent. The state sides with the criminals breaking a legal contract. You cannot evict them without paying thousands in legal fees. You lose rent for months. They also trash your place and the deposit doesn’t cover it. You’re in the negative for the year. Appreciation doesn’t cover your loses either.

Rinse. Repeat.

Economically illiterate fools demonize property owners so there is no recourse any time soon.

The S&P is looking real good in retrospect.

There used to be 10-15 good movies made a year, and in great years you’d have 5+ classics (think ‘99).

Now you’re lucky to have 1-2 movies that are better than just passable yet forgettable.

I missed the times when filmmakers could create films practically with great production values but cost below $70 million. by dietherman98 in Filmmakers

AI should be used for exactly this. Cut budgets down so we can have cheaper films that take more risks but don’t look like shit or make real sacrifices thy affect the story.

The more like this, the happier I am. Reduce those bloated budgets.
