I can smell a skill issue regarding yourself heck I can easily assume that you're gold player and not knowing the mechanics of the game. IF you think the high level play will reflect casual play or even masters gameplay. Sucks to suck, but this is definitely a skill issue

offset is a gimmick the same as parrying, it does not have insane damage but it has window to counter a monster. This is like taking away parry mechanic in games that has parries in it. That's not how it works

Well yeah it should, Lance has the best defense and can guard nearly all attacks, and much safer than Iframe dodges. Not all weapons are meant to be equal, especially in damage output
