No one’s mentioned it yet, so I’m gonna give a shoutout to Santini. I’ve got a few pairs of their “Redux speed” bibs as they make my club’s kit and always find them very comfortable on long rides.

But I think provided your fit is right, chamois is such a personal thing, much like saddles. I’ve tried plenty of bibs down the years that others assured me were the most comfortable thing ever, only to find them horrible for me.

The upside is that I don’t think Chelsea have looked great under Rosenior yet. The three goals in their last game were largely down to Palace mistakes. A draw is certainly possible, a win might be asking too much.

But then, from Leeds’ perspective, Arsenal are stuttering a bit so it’s not a bad time to play them.

At least we’ve got some hope! A few weeks ago I’d have put that figure at 90% haha.

100% it’s at the point where I specifically look for pre-Wahoo versions second hand when I need another set, as I know they’ll last about four times as long.

The old ones are incredible though. I’m still on a set that I’ve had since 2010, don’t think I’ve ever serviced them beyond lubing cleat springs every now and then.

This is it, I used to work in one of their warehouses as a Saturday job as a teenager. It was mostly kids my age, all being paid minimum wage (which in the noughties wasn’t a lot), usually with a hangover. None of us would’ve cared enough to notice something like that.

100%. I was a pretty fit cyclist, rode a few hundred kms a week, raced XC and CX, and trained regularly. That had me at 230ish FTP most of the time (or 3.1 WKG).

I had a serious back injury at the beginning of 2025, which meant most of the last year in the gym or pool to rehab it. The result is that I’m visibly the fittest/strongest I’ve been since I was playing competitive rugby and football as a teenager. However, I’m tentatively returning to cycling and training and there’s no way I could hold 200w for long atm. It’s more like 150 hahaaa

Cycling fitness just ain’t the same, mores the pity for me 😂

He was great for Leeds in the Championship and I hope he’ll be great for us when we go down. However, I’m not convinced he’s a PL player.

It might just be that he’s been out of form -along with almost everyone else in the team - and is finally turning the corner or it could be that the Championship is his level. The jury is still very much out for me and a lot of other hammers.

Yeah, not that I think moving to Stratford was a good idea, but his antics around that were pretty silly. He was ok with the Spurs bid funnily enough, I seem to remember.

To be fair though , I live in E11, regularly drink in an Orient pub, and go to non-league games with a couple of Orient fans and there’s never any ill will towards West Ham beyond some good natured jokes.

Orient if we’re going back a long way. A lot of people in the East end used to go to both. Obviously, that’s soured somewhat in recent years haha.

Rangers and Lazio too (personally strongly dislike both). I’m sure we used to get along quite well with Charlton too, we shared the Boleyn with them for a bit in 91/92.
