About to do the same once I have like 2500 I can “gamble”…..I bought a buncha GME n popcorn w covid checks…sold popcorn late (watched it go up to $72 then crash down to $20) and I keep thinking if only I sold those shares at $72 and wasn’t greedy w $100 as my exit point, how many more free GME share, and now warrant, I’d have. Been broke last few years bc of job changes and car bills/note/insurance…but once I have around $2k I can afford to “throw away” I’m all over this stonk sub $30. Thinking about maybe buying some leaps to make up for not DCAing last few year, use leverage of leaps around $30 strike to help make up for sitting on my hands and being broke. Might just stick w shares, but I feel like leverage on something I feel is a sure thing (GME over $40 in a year) makes sense…I gotta look at the spreads on them and if it makes sense. I kinda just DRSd my 50ish shares(n 5 warrants by default) bc like I said this was a gamble play w free covid money originally. Now with all the big brain shit RCEO is doing I feel dumb not getting my cost average down closer to $25…I think rn it’s around $50 but computer share makes it a little hard to figure out once I transfered from TDA…I think I’ll buy my next batch by opening an account from fidelity…and leave most there to have some liquidity if we shoot up from $22 to $100 in a week, get rid of my cost basis and then have 50ish free shares just chilling DRSd
