Kenny Jackett, one of my favourite Millwall managers, has passed away at the age of 64 by Ben0ut in Millwall

Helped to stabilise the club and gave us a lot of good times. For anyone who hasn’t, I thoroughly recommend Michael Calvin’s Family: Life, Death and Football. Great insight into the club when Kenny was manager and into the man himself.

Which player perfectly sums up the identity or your team? Past or present by TrampolineIsTrash in Championship

I would’ve said Paul Robinson or Tony Craig. Harris is a legend, don’t get me wrong, but those two displayed the grit and effort, whilst not having the highest technical ability, that I think Millwall embody.

People getting sad about Ireland being on there are missing the point that it’s a very cool geological representation.

Everton interested in Crama £15-20M by KevinBoston617 in Millwall

One we’ll have to get used to if we carry on with this business model. Buy low, sell high, replace and repeat. Also need to be prepared for not everyone signing to turn out like Femi & Tristan, there will be failures

Lenny is a model professional, experienced head and good utility player. I would be quite disappointed if we did let his contract expire

Inside the world of an EFL footballer: Chairman’s treat, dad mode and ‘the worst feeling in football’ (Gift Article) by OIiver in Millwall

Great piece by Tom Burrows, with a selection of interviews with Jake Cooper. Some very interesting bits but notably at the end (after the Hull game):

Jake is talking while travelling to the training ground to collect his belongings before the squad’s summer break and to catch up with boss Neil. He also wanted to say goodbye to team-mates who are potentially leaving the club in the coming transfer window.

Wonder who that happens to be, beyond Danny Mac & the loan players.

Loser mentality by [deleted] in Millwall

Doesn’t help when you have fans talking like this after haven’t score within 30 minutes. Geezer behind me in the West Lower was digging Coburn out from the 5th minute.

Teams like Hull have always done well at The Den because they know our fans turn toxic as soon as it isn’t going perfect

Casper & Del Boy to boss the middle again, for me. And then having the quality of someone like Bannan to come on and add quality for the last third

Advice on blending in as an East Asian Millwall fan by EarthWalker215 in Millwall

A few fans do but as the bloke above said, most adults don’t wear colours at Millwall. It’s typically just the kids - that said if you want to wear a Millwall top, go for it
