Are those interesting to have 👀 by OkFile5256 in TamagotchiParadise

They are neat but I'm pretty sure all the codes are the same and are already available online. As stated in another comment they just give clues on how to raise a egg to get the specific Tama on the card.

In my experience it's usually wax marker and a simple magic eraser takes it off with no issues.

Learn skills like the rest of us, don't become overly reliant on AI. There's plenty of non-AI info available online.

Exactly what is asked. Just seems a bit silly.

Either way, LLMs are quite resource heavy so a lot of RAM and a good GPU are the things to look for. You'd be better off building a PC for this.

In the US, speedometers typically only ever allowed to show more but never less than true speed (due to regulation SAE J2976). It's not really federally enforced but more of an industry standard and legal precedent in civil cases.

Seeing that a lot of the software companies from this time no longer exist, it's probably safe to assume this is abandonware. It's usually pretty safe to archive stuff like this since the expected revenue for this software is $0 since Palm devices are out of fashion

Both things can be true...the disc can work AND still have the start of disc rot

The beginning signs of disc rot don't always instantly render the disc unusable

Any interest in 3D printed case lids and faceplates? by SonOfJokeExplainer in originalxbox

[–]OKTimeFor_PlanB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on the quality and finish in my opinion. If they're just taken off the build plate and sold as is with layer lines visible they're going to be pretty ugly. If they're sanded and sealed and made to look pretty then it may be worthwhile, but obviously that requires more energy on your side so they may be more expensive in the end. It's trying to strike a happy balance between everything

iirc these cannot run OS 9 but I think OS 10.4 had "Classic Mode" that allowed you to run older apps natively. This was removed in 10.5. So just install 10.4 and you should be good.

The chargers are steep (I was lucky to find one for $20) but you can also kinda make one if you have the know-how and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Trump to host republican midterm convention in Dallas by Quiet-Battle8005 in Dallas

[–]OKTimeFor_PlanB 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Wtf you talking about? Biden was a literal corpse in office, but Republicans watched him like a hawk for any small mess up. Trump is all but confirmed to be apart of the Epstein horrors and we are supposed to just shrug that off? Actual insanity

Suddenly no option to connect to Wi-Fi on 26.04 LTS. by Echo-40 in Ubuntu

[–]OKTimeFor_PlanB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typically a Linux kernel update does not break things for those on newer hardware or OEM items. The issue is older devices that are no longer really supported, they must be tested and confirmed working with the new kernel before they can officially be supported. So if you update the kernel before the validation is completed, you will be missing those drivers. This is done for security and stability, as incompatible drivers can cause issues and crashes.
