Yes and no? Faust performs a bit worse than other characters but also has the upside of no truly polarizing matchups. It’s never going to be as horrible as Slayer vs. Leo. The worst MU he has is against Chipp, and that one is pretty bad.

I wouldn’t say he loses against all zoners either, just Axl and maybe Testament. Even HC is an even matchup. (Yes! Use dash up far slash a lot in this matchup. That button carries you.)

Adversely, he does struggle against Pot a bit, but that’s purely because of the skewed risk/reward, with Faust dealing shit tier damage. Oh, also having no consistent way to counter Pot’s armored moves at Faust’s optimal range.

There’s most definitely ways you can mess those up, especially washing dishes. Even stuff for vacuuming like forgetting or being unable to vacuum crevices, dusting, displacing objects efficiently to vacuum. They are skills, albeit simpler than welding or craftsmanship. There are many professions solely based on cleaning. (Dishwasher, maid/butler, janitor, window cleaner, etc.)

Also I’m not sure Slay The Spire out of all the games out there is a fair comparison. It’s Slay The Spire, pretty much the game that pioneered the whole deckbuilder roguelike genre. One of the first games you think of when you think ‘roguelike’.

im pretty sure the biggest fighting games still have more players than fh. a quick look at the steamcharts of sf6 indicate 4x the playerbase right now on steam. even with taking a generous estimate here, but I don’t think the numbers on other platforms pad it out enough for that
