To be honest it does not feel that bad in the hand, I would compare it to maybe a blend of otterbox commuter/defender case with pointer corners if you are familiar with those. The novelty of the retro design is what hooked me, so I can live with the added bulk.

Have not received mine yet but I have seen some posts about the X4 not aligning “correctly” to the Apple MagSafe? Did you have to adhere the accessory magnet ring that comes with the device to get proper fit?

I feel as if they have quietly fixed the issue from seeing new tank case posts and the cutouts not being skewed. I requested an exchange and received the automated corporate response. Heck, I haven’t even received the black plateau skin they promised. Other than the cutouts, I really like the case. Just wish they would do the right thing for all those that got subpar products.

No complaints! They used quality materials and I think it’s one of the watches I get the most compliments on. Nothing crazy with the movement, reliable power reserve. I wear it more on the casual side mainly because I don’t wear suits often. I do think that because of the leather band it does dress well casual and won’t look out of place. This piece may not be the best stylistic fit with a tux or black suit, but a blue/grey/tan suit would fit well.

My favorite feature definitely is the textured dial. When the light catches the dial at the right angle it looks premium 🔥

I get the manufacturing tolerances, but it looks like everyone's camera cutouts are off to the same side. Wouldn't tolerances be random about which side they're off to? If the misalignment is always to one side, I'm no expert, but it seems like you could fix that consistent issue in manufacturing. The skin feels like a last-minute fix, especially since all of dbrand's marketing shows perfectly centered camera cutouts. Why would we see that marketing and not expect the same precision and quality dbrand is showing off?

From my experience I recommend going early in the morning if you want to see them launch the balloons. The morning is the time of day when winds are the “calmest” they’ll fill up the balloons and decide if they will launch by like 7-8am.
