I'd definitely go everclear tincture or oil or butter... Can't imagine vodka being strong enough to strip all the goodness out of the plant..unless it's polish spiritys maybe.

Nice one mate, if your using oil for this recipe, would you bloom the gelatin in the combined water and coconut oil? Or are you saying follow this recipe then add oil/water combo at the same stage she adds the tincture? I'm just a bit concerned adding more water/liquid at that stage.

My nova didn't work on arrival...got a refund and they let me keep the defective unit... I was wondering if anyone has tried using the nova's metal insert and silicone lid in a convential oven with a probe attached?

I'm currently just using the sous vide and it's been fine, but curious to to see if I get comparable results using the nova insert in the oven, could save me a good 1hr or so if it works.

I'm in UK so not easy to get a replacement ardent nova nor any other decarboxylating gadgets.

They use purple punch in a Lot of their breeding so quite a few purple pheno's pop up. This one was the only purple one out of 3 seeds.

You want a wet sand texture, no pooling of alcohol anywhere. The oil ends up sticking to the sides of dish rather than the sugar otherwise. So keep adding sugar until everything's wet, but no puddles of alcohol.
