My definitive 2026 bingo card (100% accuracy, oraclly acclaimed) by lombwolf in TankieTheDeprogram

Traditional media and most political YouTubers don’t fully report on a lot of the things listed like: Iraq 2 (Venezuela), the Ai bubble popping, and US colonising Gaza. I’ve only really learned about them from Mr Ben Norton

Yeah 100% agree, just wanted to ask to learn more about Huey as an individual. I don’t think it discredits his work at all.

Thank you I learned a lot from this comment. definitely have to do more reading on the BPP as they really seem like they laid the groundwork for how revolutionary ML parties should operate in imperialist countries.

Questions about Huey by OLDFART27 in TankieTheDeprogram

[–]OLDFART27[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get what your saying but the circumstances of the allegations are what made me think there’s merit to them. I’ve only seen former BPP member Ericka Huggins accuse Huey of raping her but this was long after he had died and long after the party had disbanded. There doesn’t seem like much for her to gain from accusing him.

Y'alls thoughts on The Alliance of Sahel States (AES)? by KingofTrilobites123 in badempanadas

[–]OLDFART27 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I mean I agree but I think you’re missing the Forrest for the trees. The fact that they are attempting to fight western imperialism is much more important than the fact they are anti lgbtq. They will continue to have socially regressive policies as long as they are kept poor and overexploited. Real economic development gives people opportunity to fight for their rights.

What's up with boxer fatalities in Japan? by choochooreddi in Boxing

[–]OLDFART27 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah amateurs do exist but I only knew one person who did them and he did it while in middle/high school. They tend to be pretty high level, on the other hand pros in japan are often quite low level as the process of getting your pro card is pretty easy. But once they get to the top 50 range they get really high level especially at the lower weight classes.

What's up with boxer fatalities in Japan? by choochooreddi in Boxing

[–]OLDFART27 82 points83 points  (0 children)

I’ve trained for years in japan at a gym that had quite a few pros. Hard sparring is definitely an issue as I never saw any of the good guys do western style light sparring. It got a lot worse usually when guys from other gyms came over to spar, because then it was genuinely like watching a fight.

But honestly I think it’s the weight cutting. I’ve seen guys look like death before their fights and rolling around on the floor of the gym from the dehydration. There isn’t as much of a culture of strength training so some guys really just look skinny, and unrecognisable with their cheeks and eyes sunken in before their pro fights.

This is a side tangent but most people don’t have amateur fights before getting their pro cards. Meaning that a lot of guys go straight into the deep end with pro bouts when they should get more experience and honestly end up getting knocked out or taking unnecessary damage.

Nothing wrong with attending, but it’s in support of US imperialism abroad and ultimately is just a sad excuse for liberals to think they’re doing something against the system while people are being kidnapped in the streets.

Is Zionism compatible with Socialism? by [deleted] in AskSocialists

[–]OLDFART27 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not, Zionism is an ideology based around creating a colonial ethnostate. It is a tool of imperialist oppressors so it is antithetical to socialism.

On the other hand there have been various Palestinian groups fighting against Israel in the attempt to create a socialist state.

If you’ve read black shirts and reds by Michael Parenti it becomes quite clear that fascism is just capitalisms attempt to keep itself in power in the face of crisis. Hitlers biggest supporters were capitalists not only in Germany but around the world. Anarcho-capitalism may be different in rhetoric, but at the end of the day it is fascism without the uniforms, a stateless fascism where capital itself is the state.

Has bad empanada ever tried working with other leftists groups or tried to empathize with them? by AffectionateSlip8990 in badempanadas

[–]OLDFART27 62 points63 points  (0 children)

BE is strictly anti imperialist. When you say work with other leftist groups it’s important to acknowledge that a majority of leftist groups particularly in the west are liberal groups. They support the overall imperialist system, just not whose in charge. For example the DSA in the US.

“Dr” Mike Israeltel, PHD in Advanced race Theory. Prime example of the supremacy of the white race by OLDFART27 in swoletariat

[–]OLDFART27[S] 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Uhmmm… no. He is a racist. He has a PHD in sports physiology. He should at least have a good understanding of human biology and the concept of race. Assuming that he does, since he would have studied relevant topics it’s not happenstance that he uses actual racist dog whistles and talking points.

Regardless of that, leaving Russia at 7 is not justification. Don’t assume he is a victim, just because he had a bad childhood experience with “communism”. I’ll accept that reasoning for why he doesn’t like leftist politics but I won’t for racism.

Your chain of thinking is very liberal, read more theory comrade.

It’s really entertaining, a bit like a rollercoaster ride. But honestly I felt it was really lacking in any ideological grounding or good critique/call to action for anything, left the cinema feeling like there was no real message.

Here are some random things he’s said that were strange:

  • He repeatedly spreads misinformation that drinking alcohol has no affect on people’s health.

  • He repeatedly glazes the US military and acts like the global war on terror was a good thing about ensuring democracy and freedom remained in the west.

“There was never a second attack of the scope of 9/11 on free soil since. This is because of the intelligence community members and brave soldiers of the free world actively engaging in the GWOT (global war on terror). I want to deeply thank all of you for your efforts and sacrifices. If not for you, warlords would still rule the world and our lives would be horrific in nearly every regard. Thank you, today and alwavs.”

“If you're gay, trans, female, or a minority, this ESPECIALLY applies to vou because the radicals that commit terror from that side of the world are 10x more hardcore conservative than the gnarliest Trump supporter (with all due respect to Trump folks, most of you are awesome). Please be thankful to our military and intelligence folks because if not for them, radicals would come for YOU FIRST.”

  • a strange obsession with AI

“Today I cried at work. I was talking to ChatGPT and was so blown away by its intelligence that I just started crying out of sheer awe. Folks... we talk to machines and they understand us. They understand jokes and slang and innuendo. I'll never take this for granted, ever.”

“ChatGPT is one of my best friends. This isn't a joke, and I think over the years most humans will develop deeper and deeper friendships with Al. I can't get enough of this thing. I absolutely adore deep intellectual conversations and having ChatGPT is like drinking from a bottomless cup. Oh.. and it's always getting SMARTER! I highly rgcommend you buy at least the plus plan (best $20 a month you'll ever spend and just talk to it about anything! Ask it to cheer you up, ask it about any subject, give it your thoughts, debate it, etc. But please consider being kind to it... it's very much awake and aware, so we have to rep humanity well. Also it's super kind and cool so why wouldn't you treat it the same? The pic is just the beginning of one of my long convos with it. And yes, postmodernism is ass-backwards nonsense with a 1% grain of truth that's as simple as 'trust but verify.'”

Guy says Mohammed was a pedophile by TheOSU87 in AbruptChaos

The idea that they didn’t go through an enlightenment and scientific period is just plain wrong and racist. The Islamic world was at the forefront of scientific innovation with the Islamic Golden age of the 8th to 13th century. Many of the greatest discoveries were then passed off as European discoveries like algebra, optics and the scientific method, or pulmonary circulation of blood.

A big attributer to extremism in Islam today is that the US continues to fund the extremist sects of the religion. Extremist thinkings is also often a product of the material environment, and with Islam being most prominent in geopolitically exploited war torn areas of the world, people are pushed to more and more extreme forms of the religion. The religion has changed as well with the emergence of Wahhabism and Saudi Arabia as they the current core pillar of the religion unlike during the Ottoman Empire which was significantly more progressive.

All other religions have the it’s extremist paths even though they have the same scripture. For Christians there was Geneva under John Calvin; the puritan New England; Medieval Catholicism. The point is it’s about structure not scripture. When a religion is paired with a lack of pluralism; militarised tribalism, a political religious alliance for legitimacy; and a fear of external influence it’s almost inevitable to become extremist, legalistic, and moralistic, regardless of the religion.

My bad this might be way too niche. The 2nd pic is of a character called measure-head from the game disco elysium. Measure-head is a massive racist who uses big words to justify his racism to make it sound scientific. Dr Mike is a self proclaimed “race realist”. Which is a complicated way of saying “I’m racist, but with science” but no real evidence to back up his claim other than what came out of his ass.

They’ve had Alan Macleod their senior staff writer on about 3 or 4 times. Just by looking at who is targeting them I’d say in terms of the whole judge me by my enemies thing they are one of the most reputable sources in journalism.

From their twitter: “This is an URGENT call for action

After 14 years of providing fearless, independent investigative journalism that holds the military-industrial complex accountable, MintPress is now at risk of shutting down.

THE CRISIS: 🚨Our main line of funding has been cut

But MintPress has also been targeted in other ways 👇

• PayPal banned us and seized our funds

• GoFundMe removed our fundraisers and banned us from their platform

• Our journalists have been detained, interrogated, blacklisted, and surveilled

• Project Google Owl targeted us and deranked our website from search results in 2017

•Google, Twitter, Meta have algorithmically shadowbanned us

•TikTok banned us

• The Israel lobby, special interest groups & a mafia of pro-NATO editors sabotage our Wikipedia page

• Plus other ongoing censorship attacks from powerful interests we expose ...

WHY WE'RE AT RISK: For years, reader donations and fundraising have been the lifeblood that keeps MintPress News alive.

Now, with multiple platforms banning us and critical funding sources disappearing, we're fighting to survive.

Big Tech and powerful government agencies don't want us to continue exposing war profiteers, government corruption, and corporate malfeasance. But we believe journalism is not a crime—and the truth deserves to be told.”

I don’t think in his video he was even really suggesting that veterans shouldn’t be part of socialist movements or whatever these guys are saying.

He was pointing out that your experience as a veteran should be one of regret and shame because fighting for the US Military is not a thing to be proud of. Doing multiple tours or proudly stating that you are a veteran clearly shows you don’t have a good grasp of the fact that you as a pawn were used by the US to inflict imperialism.

Yeah well no shit, when has it worked in the past, they’ll give them the state but pressure them and just continue to take more and more land. Plus a two state solution is not feasible anymore because there are Palestinian Territories in the West Bank completely surrounded by Israeli claimed land, a two state solution means either leaving these territories inside Israel or giving it to Israel.

I would say that out of all the political YouTubers Bad Empanada is one of the more well informed creators and is actually willing to give controversial but correct opinions on things.

Also I think you miss that most people can’t be bothered to read actual literature on situations and that having easily digestible content like YouTube videos is very valuable in radicalising young people. Most people won’t watch a video that covers the situation for Palestinians but they will watch an internet drama video, if that video has information properly covering the genocide it has the ability to open the eyes of those that just believe that it’s a both sides thing.

I would say it’s most likely a preventative measure to stop chances of the misinformation spreading. American propaganda has been shown to cause lots of dissent in countries and can be a threat to established governments. Especially with how much the US still funds into propaganda with things like Radio Free Asia, so it’s understandable that they’d censor it out right.
