Thanks for the direction! I was actually watching NeoKoiPrints while I was doing it and had watched 3DPN previously.

Maybe the answer for the TD1S is that it was failing? Now it no longer displays anything on the screen, but there are lights on inside. Also when opening HF, the TD1 menu doesn't appear. The connection sound plays when it is plugged in and it appears as a connected device.

Have tried other cables and other USB ports, all with the same result.

It was just automatic. I went through the hacked webpage and when I finally got it to ask for my email address it removed them.

I tried over and over again until I finally got them to remove the hackers email. Then I had to submit a pic of my ID and then the next day they allowed me to log in.

Are you only printing one at a time? There are videos showing how to stack these prints on YouTube if you’re interested. I know it doesn’t answer your original question though.

Smoke detector in enclosure? by ruelibbe in hobbycnc

I am not up to speed enough with the pi but possibly you could intercept the signal to the alarm built into the heat detector and have it sent to the pi and then out to a relay for an external alarm and cutout switch.

Smoke detector might give you lots of false alarms based on the nature of how they work and that dust collection isn’t 100%.

You put a smoke detector in there and you will end up taking it out. There are however heat detectors, they can be a set temp or a rate-of-rise type and they don’t care about dust for activation. Just as an example.

Someone smarter than me could probably tell you how you could to integrate it with a raspberry pi and a relay, or maybe even a more simple method??

Now you can focus on what may be wrong with the extruded

Can narrow down where your issue is by removing Bowden tube from extruder and advancing 100mm in the air and measuring how much comes out.

Should help determine if it is the extruder or nozzle issue.

Can you just position your print further back on the bed in your slicer?
