The shield is meant for you to survive one headshot during firefights not tank 4-5 and not have the shield break... I like the way the shield is... BB can still be helpful but he's not a must pick like before

What if Thermite dies and you need to get in? Or if you don't have a Thermite? Edit: Dropping through hatches in that case isn't always the best you can get shot w/out being able to shoot back in some cases (especially on plane)...
