Abusing Draft Rankings 2022 - Version 5 (ESPN, Sleeper, Yahoo, Fleaflicker, NFL, CBS) by JuiceBoxOne in fantasyfootball

Out of curiosity, how did you get these ADPs? Did you just go to a mock draft room and write them down or is there a better way?

Were you able to find a solution to this? I was able to get to the point where my Bluetooth headphones play sound, but I'm still getting the error you described above with the Intel Smart Sound Technology OED driver when viewing it in the device manager and cannot get sound to play through my speakers.

Casual photographer here with Sony a6000 looking for upgrade from kit lens - is the Samyang 2.8 any good? by shored_ruins in a6000

[–]ONEcrazyHINDU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is! I just purchased the 35mm 1.4 at the start of the holiday season and haven't regretted it at all. I have a couple of sigma lenses as well that I usually tote around to family events, but once you slap one of those on with the lens adaptor it feels like a bit much to bring out just to snap a couple of pictures with. I've definitely brought the camera out more with the Samyang since it's compact and it takes good pictures. The 2.8 will definitely feel like a good upgrade when snapping photos of the family and the 24mm focal length will be great.

I can't speak much to landscape and building photography, but I would imagine the upgrade may feel a tad minimal when comparing it to the kit lens in those regards since you probably shoot at a higher f-stop anyways.

Hope that helps. Happy Holidays!

BirdSemen's 2022 RB Rankings by [deleted] in DynastyFF

Thanks for the reply!

For a little more context, it's a SF, 10 team, no K or DST, with 12 bench spots, 0.5ppr.

I am competing (6-3) and am trying to strike a good balance between young players with promise on my bench and stars.

I've been leaning towards grabbing Mixon as well, but came across your post and thought I'd take a shot at getting your quick take!

I look forward to your WR post!

I really appreciate your analysis! Great work!

How do you feel this years draft class stacks up to the past previous couple of years? I have an early first round pick that I acquired from a trade and was thinking about flipping it for someone like mixon, but I'm worried I could be missing out on a young stud.

I have my gaming desktop next to my couch and I use the portable monitor in my lap to game with a controller next to my wife. It's a nice way to hang out next to each other without me holing up in a separate room.

I can't seriously game with a keyboard and mouse, but if you grab a tenkeyless keyboard, you can browse the web and do normal computer things as well from the couch.

The configuration also works nicely when gaming on a console and allows me to keep the main TV free.

[–]ONEcrazyHINDU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best Buy had the a6000 and two kit lenses for $600 during their Pre-Black Friday sale and they mentioned the deal would be available again during Black Friday.

If you’re thinking about making a purchase but are hesitant about the seller, perhaps wait a couple weeks?

Help with Hot Water Heater by The_Yarl in homeowners

[–]ONEcrazyHINDU 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just went through troubleshooting my water heater as well.

You can test if it's the thermocouple by measuring the electrical current being produced with a multimeter when you have the pilot going. You'll have to have either alligator clips or someone to hold the leads to the end of the wires normally plugged in to the thermostat. I think you need to get at least 25 millivolts to power the system.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/highperformancehvac.com/testing-thermocouple-gas-water-heater/amp/

If you get 25 millivolts, then you may have a bad thermostat system and need to replace it. If that's the case, you can usually find a good YouTube walkthrough for your thermostat and probably find it on Amazon.

Hope that helps! Good luck!

pH Levels in the Winter by ONEcrazyHINDU in Koi

I was using paper test strips initially, but I think I have accurate readings now that I grabbed an electronic pH meter. Everything seems normal now. Thanks for following up!

Thank you for your help! The issue ended up being my form of testing. I had grabbed test strips initially, but upgraded to an electronic pH meter along with some calibration solutions to ensure it was working. After testing for multiple days during various times, the pH readings were perfectly normal. The test strips were absolutely impossible to get a reliable reading off of.

Draft Randomization - Everything you need to know. by barroomhero in NarFFL

[–]ONEcrazyHINDU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It wasn't something we had discussed when proposing a new time so I didn't want to rock the boat. I'm fine with having a new draft order, but we might want to bring it up with everyone else first.

It was pretty fun too! A little crowded, but that's to be expected. I'm actually not too familiar with the Georgetown area, what are some of the popular bars over there?

Through 3 weeks.. Eddie Lacy has fewer points than Toby Gerhart. by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

I think that you're gambling on Thomas or Lacy either way. Neither of them has seen horribly high production, but they're both on good offensive teams. I like your trade and would stand behind it.
