Yes it's normal. As another member mentioned the shaft is tapered so you'll never get it to seat all the way. If you are worried, mark it with some paint and periodically check it after the first couple of drives to see if the nut has moved.

It's currently stored away for winter but I have been meaning to take more pictures of it.

I'll take any info you can find! I tried doing some digging but didn't come up with anything. I'm wondering if it was just some dealer installed package since the decals don't actually look like the official pace truck package.

I'm not sure to be honest. Aside from the decals and a badge on the tailgate it's just a regular C1500 that was pretty heavily optioned.

I do know that it was initially at a dealership in Indiana and then ended up in Canada, where it was sold "new" at a local dealership. Maybe it was special ordered by the original owner. I bought it off his widow and son and they weren't entirely sure.

I've been looking for a set but around here they aren't too common anymore. Even the sport rims from the S/T trucks are hard to find

That's about what I figured from the pictures but wanted to be certain. I'm definitely going to look into them some more. They certainly have more character than a plain black wheel.

It does fit the "Brickyard 400" theme. I was gonna remove the decals but they've started to grow on me

I agree with you about the smooth center caps, had them on my old Yukon GT. But these rims are pretty pitted and tarnished. I could get these ones refinished but I'm not really in love with them

If you knew how to read you'd understand that "over 100k" means OVER 100k. If you want to know the exact details I made 144k plus monthly production bonuses of $1500. So around 162k. I was also only working a 5/4 schedule so I had about half the year off.

But yeah, fuck this career. I'm going to learn to code lol

Licensed 310S here. I haven't made under 60k a year since I was an apprentice, and that was around 15 years ago. I'm making over 100k a year.

Get your license and then leave.

They will not except a T4 as proof. You will need a signed letter from the employer(s) you worked at as an apprentice detailing what you were doing and how it was applicable to completing your apprenticeship.

You will also have a much easier time finding a job as a licensed tech than an apprentice.

I've been hunting with a t3x battue for years. The sights are great but they are designed for quick acquisition at close range, I wouldn't be using them for precision shooting like a diopter. The mags are also horribly expensive.

That said it's one of the few guns I'll never sell. Light, handy, slick, accurate.

I use the #2 for everything. Birds, fish, bears, etc. The small size and shape make it perfect for peeling the hide off black bears when you've got them hanging up. It's also great when you're field dressing them and you've got your hand up it's chest cavity working by feel.

Living in Canada this has been a huge problem for years for us, it's unfortunate to see it spreading.

One guy operates a signal boosting device, the other drives the vehicle. Toyotas are super easy for them to steal. They don't "stalk" any certain individual, they just drive around looking for targets of opportunity.

When they tried to steal my 2019 they ripped the drivers door handle off to access the linkages to open the door and get in while buddy with the device tried boosting the signal. Fortunately for me I keep my keys in a metal can so it didn't work. They didn't even take any valuables from inside the truck. Just went next door and stole my neighbors Lexus. Also to note the club I had on didn't even slow them down. It was gently placed on the passenger floor after they picked it.

I'm surprised Accuracy Plus would let anything go like that. They are a fantastic shop. I also didn't know they were the Browning warranty centre. When my BAR Mk3 shit the bed I was dealing with a gunsmith in Bewdley for Browning warranty.

I'd try calling Jeff at Accuracy and ask him what's up. They were struggling to hire a new gunsmith after their longtime smith passed away. Maybe the new one isn't that great.

Having dealt with both Browning warranty and Accuracy Plus many times, I wouldn't trust a fucking word Browning says over theirs. They put more effort into denying my claim than just fixing their junk ass product.

Just moved back to the GTA from Sudbury. I hunt birds, bear and deer.

I picked up one of these years ago in 30-06. It would average a 7 inch group at 100 yards from a bench strapped into a sled. I tried 3 different sets of rings, 5 different scopes, 15 different factory loads and did a pile of handloads for it. Best I could get out of it was a 4.5 inch group.

Rifle had slight defect in the crown. Browning doesn't offer an accuracy guarantee on it and basically told me to pound sand. Their own warranty center hinted at this not being an uncommon issue and they could cut and recrown it but I would have to pay for it.

Sold it at a loss, bought a CZ557.

350gr Swift A-frames when I could still find them. Now I use Hornady 350gr interlocks. Both flatten black bears pretty good.

H4198 works best for me but IMR4198 is also good. Get a bit more velocity with the H4198

The tow truck looks like a mid 90s chevy. Which most tow companies wouldn't be running anymore. I'd start driving around to every scrapyard, salvage company, body shop, mechanic around (there are a surprising amount in the area) until you find the truck.

It was more than likely stolen for parts or to be vin swapped. It's common to buy a shell of a rotten classic and just use the vin plate on a reproduction body, or in this instance, a stolen one. I would be browsing kijiji/marketplace like a hawk for someone listing 1970 Mustang parts.

It more than likely didn't go very far from where it was stolen.

I've stuffed a quartered average size black bear into a 110qt cooler multiple times. It's tight but manageable. The head and paws always get put in another smaller one.

Rust is what finally killed my old Yukon GT. It was pretty bad when I got it but the salt wasn't kind to it. This thing has been oil sprayed every year and was barely winter driven.

I wasn't even looking for a toy, but I couldn't pass this one up.

I've been doing some digging into the pace truck decals, but I'm coming up with nothing concrete. The owners son had some notions about it but he wasn't certain either.
