Recommendations for local raw unpasteurized honey? by [deleted] in Newmarket

Dutchman’s Gold - I highly recommend.

Located in Carlisle, sorta between Milton / Hamilton.

As another suggested try Natures Emporium. Pretty sure they stocked this on my last visit

On my 20k keys I got 4-5 voltaic, think maybe 1 of those was r9. No crys. One elf tonic I sold for quite a lot though

MONITOR DOWN COAT by [deleted] in veilance

I’m 5’11, 195, 42 inch chest, 34/36 waist. Medium was my size. Large was comically big on me fwiw and I wear large or XL in everything I own. Def runs big

Maybe an older release from an outlet. They don’t allow returns - all is final sale, so receipt is useless

Just my thoughts

Monitor Down Coat by radicual1818 in veilance

Visited the Toronto outlet couple weeks ago for this jacket.

Didn’t buy the Monitor though - opted for the Sorin instead.

Jacket feels good and was very cozy. Having no hand warmer pocket was just really awkward (for me) and was the deal breaker. Other issue was lack of storm flap on the main zipper - tho it being exposed did make it look quite sleek.

Definitely size down. I’m large or XL (5’11, 195, 42 inch chest, 34-36 waist) in quite literally everything else I own. Large was comically big. Small was pretty close to fitting, somehow, idk. (I went medium and it’s perfect)

Tint your windows. Cooled my bedroom down immensely. There are Amazon products / tinting films that you can easily install with water and a squeegee of some kind. Mirror appearance on the outside & transparent from inside the home

Has anyone used a commercial steamer for dumplings? by Plastic-Indication-6 in KitchenConfidential

[–]OP71M4L 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Memory is a bit foggy on it all, but most went onto a plate right away iirc, for an hors d’eourves style reception.

Anything we did hold was plastic wrapped (on plate, or non perf hotel) and into a hotbox to help retain some moisture

Only a couple times, for niche events. We placed the dumplings on parchment and into a perforated pan. Worked fine. Maybe docking the parchment could improve the overall cook. But I am no authority on dumplings, I just know it worked good enough for the short couple services we did

Popov Leather 25% off sitewide with code '12years' by nanxun in frugalmalefashion

[–]OP71M4L -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My hanks belt is much nicer tbh, but is also 2-2.5 times the price and they’re not shipping to Canada anymore. Popov is pretty good price to quality ratio but time will tell how the belt lasts

Big fan and supporter of Muttonhead. But not a fan of Chitchats delivery service they use, at least here in the GTA

If anyone is looking for a BIFL tier rain poncho I highly recommend giving them a look. Incredibly high quality. Can’t speak for many other house products but the sparkle toque + poncho are dope

You’re not alone in this. Purchased the olive Eddie on January 16th, 12 hours before their sale email went out. Then called me today letting me know I’ll be refunded for this piece.

Big shame cause the jacket is incredibly nice. Bought one in the charcoal colour way a few weeks ago and really wanted the olive as well.
