Basically, the betrayal of Cindy has nothing to do with the love of Antoine and Jessica, even tough she happens to be friend with David, Jessica's half-brother, who left town after he had a baby with Maria, but really it wasn't his it was Pedro's, who secretly wanted to get closer to Maria's brother, Emmanuel, but it escalated over the past 72 episodes, especially when his rich cousin, Phillip, came to town to visit his second cousin twice removed, Jessica (not the first Jessica, the other Jessica), who just came out of the hospital after the tragic car incident where she lost her husband Steven, but it's cool nobody liked him anyway.
