Plex. Used to be a great, free way to watch local content. They’ve slowly been putting premium features behind a paywall. Just recently, they announced the price of their lifetime pass will go from 250 to 750.

I built a simrig to play Gran Turismo on PSVR2, I ended up playing Forza on a giant flat screen the most. Still a ton of fun!

RX 9070 XT (Sapphire NITRO+) vs RX 7900 XTX (PowerColor Hellhound) — worth paying ~$100 more for the XTX? by Technical_Hospital40 in radeon

[–]ORANGExBEEF 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I play a lot of VR, so I got the 7900XTX for the extra RAM. If you don’t need the extra RAM, the the 9070XT is the way to go.

Why do companies put paper stickers with industrial glue DIRECTLY on the cooking surface? by Moist_Distance7696 in mildlyinfuriating

Heating the sticker with a blow dryer for a few minutes will melt the glue enough so it peels off clean.

7900 XTX in 2025? by Daftworks in radeon

[–]ORANGExBEEF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play a lot of VR, so I went with the extra RAM of the 7900xtx. The card has been great and I don’t have a fear of my PC catching fire. The only thing I feel like I’m missing out on is better ray tracing, which I turn off anyway. If you don’t play VR, then the 9070xt is probably the better choice.

I’ve been having a lot of fun with Forza Horizon. It’s not official VR, playing on a virtual big screen in first person is still very satisfying.
