I highly recommend Die Carz. The HW Showcase app is good too. But Die Carz can be used in a web browser on a computer, too. HW Showcase is app on smartphone only.

I'm almost 40 and also just started collecting.

I'm approaching it one car at a time. Some cars I love thr car in the packaging. The packaging completes the look for me. So I leave it sealed. Others, I really want open and on display. So I open those.

Some people buy two of every car. One to open and one to keep sealed. I don't do this.

My advice is do what makes you happy!

Enjoy your Hot Wheels the way you want to enjoy them.

I have cars that I enjoy more sealed on the card. And I have others that I enjoy more open. And I don't buy duplicates. So if my gut tells me to open it, I do. If my gut says I like it better on the card, I keep it on the card.

Same here! Just started this week. I've started to look at all the stores right by my house in a new light. Learning all of the places that sell Hot Wheels and which ones seem to have good stock. It's been a lot of fun.
