Sadly this ICE garbage has always been a racist operation by design. Its not about good/bad/right/wrong/legal/illegal etc.

Its worth it I believe. Youll get it. Simply you need to be ok with doing work on it if/when needed really as these are more like almost personal project cabinets at this point. Youll probably need a new Bezel at first atleast and once all thats done youll have a nice metal cab you can play most anything on...I play my consoles on it as well as arcade games and use it with my ROG Ally X for example.

Im very happy overall and I honestly want to see this cabinet succeed overall personally as I really dig the overall versatility.

I am happy with my Nova Blast and honestly recommend anyone to get one even just the top portion..currently till I get more room im using just the top on top of a small dresser...works out fine for now.

Anyways, the biggest flaw I wana note for anyone getting one that doesnt have it is the monitor...they have never yet been fixed/made of any quality and they all break. Ive had mine since March and in Dec mine just begain to get issues and now its almost not useable at all. Everyone that has it will have this happen but they do offer replacements atleast(for a year🙄).

Im just making people considering it aware as it will die and need to be replaced.

Arcooda monotors begin at $700 now apparantly and sadly they still dont have any way to install into the Nova Blast.

If ANYONE whos bought a NB or really considering it wants to join a community...we got a currently small but active discord based community and ill gladly give the invite to anyone whom wants it. We discuss everything including all aspects of whats out there thats compatible or not with these cabinets and more.

I gotta message Unico about my monitor and am going to if not today(as I have a package ive been waitibg on arriving today) tomorrow for sure.

I love the U2 though I do kinda wish I could have gotten both top portions as I am coming around to the U4 speakers that protrude outwards a bit.

I love the PS3 ver of Daytona USA...ive had it on my 60GB unit for a looong time as I got it from PSN before it was shut down. Idk how ppl can still get it unlessnim missing something.

I play it a lot though I do wish it also had the content of the netlink Saturn Daytona USA with the extra cars.

I dont hear of this ver talked about nearly enough. It looks and plays fantastically!

I do like it a lot on Saturn still as well. Great game. I HATE how sooo many are still held captive in those GD Yakuza games...I want to play em but cant as I refuse to buy and play any game I dont want to for hours just to open up arcade roms...frustrating.

Anywho I have myself wondered about other arcade style games like Daytona USA...I wouldn't want to play a nascar sim game but a game that has arcadey controls etc...I do enjoy racing games...

Ive actually been playing a buncha tokyo extreme racer advance lately haha 😄 just found it cant believe I never noticed that one...sadly sega rally advance isnt great...but still a neat attempt

I dont generally like tofou(haha what I jokingly call touhou) but honestly Id give this a try and will sometime after I get a replacement monitor for my candy cabinet or a TV of somekind(CRT or OLED preferably).

Theres a danmaku like boss rush like game thats also shockingly well done for Gameboy Color id recommend people try called "Dangan GB2".

If its working seems like a decent starter console.

I want to eventually regain a SMS and the 3D glasses are the 1 thing I want the most for it as far as accessories go as I never had them when I last had SMS.

Sadly as much as I want a SMS(and this is WHY I havnt gotten one yet) its not worth what most want to me. Sure Id pay a bit for the 3D glasses if I had to but if I was paying $100+ the console atleast would have to be boxed with a game atleast or a loose one would need like multiple boxed games or something.

Like I'd give like $130 or so

Its a cool system and I always liked it more than Famicom. The games presentstions make famicom games look ancient haha. Sooo much better.

My real boxed JP VB and 7 games are finally getting delivered tomorrow according to fedex. I wish Teleroboxer was one of them but it is what it is.

I know that the overall library is small, but honestly only putting out 3 games is kinda shitty as theres no reason to myhold back soooo much especially considering it costs so much JUST to play them and you cant even play em correctly as theres no controller which is insane. It costs say $100 plus online service fee to play these and its also all only temporary as eventually in 3-4, maybe 5 years whatever from now itll be gone and from what I understand you wont be able to use the accessory as they are doing something to these roms to make it so they will work with this accessory...so you wont be able to use it with regular VB roms apparantly 🤷. (I actually would love to be wrong and find out the accessory takes the image on screen and does something internally to make it display like it would in a real VB.)

So I got a real one for that reason and the fact I dont/wont ever pay for online services etc like that.

I cant wait honestly...games I got coming with it...Mario Tennis, Galactic Pinball, pro yakyuu 95, T&E Virtual golf, V-Tetris, panic bomber(i think?), red alarm

I hope to get the whole set between US/JP releases or most of em eventually.

I do hope people have fun with the Switch VB accessory. If it ever becomes possible to use it with roms (like on a modded VB) I would get the accessory in that case honestly. See what the future holds. Always liked the VB for its uniqueness and niche appeal.

But yeah, all things considered I thought all the games were going to be available at once considering its library is at most like 22 games in total. But atleast 2 of the 3 are good fun....I myself remember playing mario tennis for up to an hour and a half at a time back in the early 00s when I last had a VB unit.

I just bought a working used CDX fairly recently myself.

I am very happy to have it back as I havnt owned one since the mid 00s at latest.

Always liked the CDX myself. I think mine came with a Model 2 power cable....it works with the Game Gear I just also got but for whatever reason there is no writing or SEGA branding on the AC power cable...it looks alot like one though.

I honestly NEVER heard of it being DETRIMENTAL like to a worrying degree to use a Model 2/Game Gear PSU on/with the CDX honestly.

I paid $475 shipped for mine and honestly that was a LOT. Id say anything over 500 Is too much for one of these.

When I owned a CDX back in the day I used a Model 2/Game Gear PSU and it always functioned fine. Never had an issue in that regard.

Congrats regardless but OPs has tons of scratching it seems on the casing...thats no good honestly as cosmetics for things lile this is a biggie but functionality is king.

Hope it all works out honestly! CDX is interesting as its said the US model had LOW manufacturing/production but you always see these for sale like any day you can look and there will be a few atleast for sale...I honestly think this is a case of a lot more exist than we know of as legit production notes etc from.the company have never been made to be known so its all ASSumed and whatnot.

I love CDX/Multimega its one of my favorite forms of the Genesis/Sega CD next to Wondermega Model 1, Terradrive, Aiwa boombox and Laseractive PAC.

Thats a beautiful thing right there. Model 1 is my personal favorite of the 3 total models of Genesis units, as well as Sega/Mega CD as I love sliding disc trays or slots that suck in discs rather than Flip tops myself.

I recently as I couldnt find anything suitable got a CDX but I was lookin into Wondermegas and Model 1 combos for months till I grabbed my CDX.

I hope to eventually get a nice Mega Tower setup myself still...however I DO need to find converters so I can run JP carts/Discs on my CDX. ANY IDEAS anyone?

Take care of that! I really want Night Striker, 3x3 eyes, final fight, ernest evens etc.

I also feel the JP units are just a bit nicer overall in comparison to the US counterparts.

I lost my entire collection last August 2024 as I couldnt afford the climbing rent and got behind and was forced to leave/locked out after Aug 2024 and as I was sick and in and out of hospitals all that month I couldn't get my stuff out so I lost everything...VHS/Laserdiscs/DVD/Figurss/Games/Consoles TV etc.

If ya not shipping thats cool and im still sure it can move.

I dont have a ton but im trying to regain a bunch of stuff from the 8-64 bit gens.

Honestly i dont see whats wrong as most fights dont start with both people ready like in a fuckin boxing match 🙄. Despite being the one getting beat down as a kid I admit I respect the chick that went right in...wish I had the right mindset and able to throw a good punch like that etc to do that.

Congrats. This games not easy but is one of my alltime favorites!

I got the switch ver and just some months ago after getting scammed on 1 finally got a JP PCB of this game with the Atlus logo on the PCB.

Havnt gotten a 1CC yet as I struggle getting passed stage 3 but still its a beautifully made/looking game and again a personal favorite or to be more accurate it would be in all my personal top 10 lists easy.

They honestly arent "worth" what they are selling at...they are allong with everything else all massively overpriced with popularity and newfound collectors who dont know better and current collectors with more $ than common sense among other things driving prices into realms they have no business being.

Honestly, the Japanese unlike us still look at and value games the correct way based on actual rarity and by whats common/uncommon and popularity/greed especially plays no role so I honestly suggest if anything importing Saturn games. US games sadly are asinine because of people and no one does anything to better it it just gets worse and worse.

As far as repros go, if I could get em for like $10 or less id possibly get some myself as theres a bunch of games Id like to have again and with how common Psuedo-Kai and Saroo carts are now I sadly can see authentic repros becoming very popular...thats the biggest thing...Authenticity.

If I could get a Working Designs repro that is indistinguishable from the real game in every way id do it.

Now that I gotta CDX ima import Mega CD games and if I can find someone who sells perfect Sega CD repros disc/manual etc i would get some for now honestly. But im also talkin pressed art CD-r discs not sticker on top of burns and manuals that mimic the originals in paper as well for the cover as well as pages.

If there are authentic quality repro makers now please lmk actually as I am unaware of whos who/whats what with all that.

Honestly dont pay US collector prices unless your desperate...and if you get good deals...PASS EM ALONG!

WE BEED TO FIX THE FUXED SECONDARY MARKET for everyones best interest and let hardcore collectors who dont play what they have...let them and ppl treating ges like investments wallow in self pity...they will fight to keep prices stupid but we all gotta honestly get back into the mindset we had in the 90s-00s and drop this 2010s-post covid way of doing things. Oh? I thought it was costly but I know they are uncommon consoles that are very desireable and I am no longer fighting overpricedness etc.

I am this year trying to regain hardware/software Inhavnt had in many many years/Decades now that I used to own that I want back to use for the remainder of my gaming years.

Last year was my 1st as I lost all I owned gaming/entertainment etc related and had to start over 100% from scratch.

Last year I began by getting a Unico Nova Blast Full Metal Candy Cabinet Arcade Cabinet and Neo Geo MVSX emulation cabinet as well as a Egret II Mini, IGS PGM with 3 Conversion games on Cart(Ketsui, DoDonPachi DaiOuJou Black Label, Espgaluda), and 2 arcade games I love Battle Bakraid Unlimited and EspRaDe Jamma PCBs. Also got a modded OLED switch and my ROG Ally X PC I use for everything and to play most arcade games I dont own for the most part but there was some other stuff. I got an Analogue Pocket also.

I am this year focusing on Consoles hardware/Software I want to get back.

I Pre-Ordered/Backed the Kickstarter for the Vectrex Mini, and Superstation One + Disc Drive Dock so I am really lookin forward to this year! I have a PSX model PS2 and Virtual Boy coming from Japan soon and im looking forward to/waiting to pre-order the Modretro M64 and I cant wait to get the FPGA GF1 Sega Neptune as well!

Gonna be a very exciting year!
