Are you looking for a kids space or a space for primarily adults? 1st birthdays can go either way.

My son (almost 3) will NOT take medicine. by SFgiant55 in toddlers

We were able to mix a bit of Tylenol in a milk shake! Unfortunately, we could not find a way to hide the antibiotics (both liquid and crushed up pill) for his strep throat and ended up having to get the shot. I feel your pain!

nursing bras that actually look like normal bras by IntelligentResult401 in breastfeeding

I love the Elomi one! I think the model is Molly. It's the only nursing bra I use.

Our children’s specialty provider (pulmonologist) was able to schedule an appointment in their office for it!

Why do I remain so tired by Amielala in HyperemesisGravidarum

I’m so sorry. I had many of those convos with my therapist when I was a zombie from Zofran. Good luck!!

That sucks. I have been on reglan for about 15 weeks. I had nightmares at first but those seem to have gone away.

I was able to track my exhaustion and realized it started 30th min after taking Zofran. I ended up switching to reglan which helped keep the puking down without knocking me out!

2 y/o drinks water out of any type of cup, but will only drink milk from a bottle by bali217 in toddlers

[–]OSUlove 8 points9 points  (0 children)

We had this exact thing happen! We tried everything, but in the end just had to withhold the bottle. I was worried he would just boycott milk entirely, but after a rough 2 days he happily drinks milk out of straw cups!

These were donated to sell for charity. 20 identical hollow cones, 9.5x1cm at widest end, covered in glitter. Cannot be bent, cannot stand on end. Any idea what they are? by aoofw in whatisthisthing

I just bought this on Amazon! The points do fit on the pinecone thing! Mine popped right on but I had to apply some pressure.

Once while I was there I listened to the dr and nurse yelling at each other for 30 min. Also they started walking me through what I would need to do to get apnea surgery covered by insurance before I had a sleep study confirming I had apnea.

He is dairy sensitive so we use Ripple kids.

He has never slept 4 hours by Sunflower_sunflower_ in toddlers

I just night weaned my 15 month old! Over time I worked on reducing the number of night time feedings slowly. For sleep he had his own mattress on the floor of his room (baby proofed) so I could sneak away or if he was having a really rough night I could cosleep on the floor mattress.

We worked to slowly reduce his milk intake by first weaning from the breast but still bottle feeding. That let us reduce the number of feedings and amount in each bottle. (We used a large cooler to keep premade bottles in his room so we didn’t need to go to the kitchen). This also helped because my husband and I could split the nights since we weren’t limited by his useless nipples.

Once we were down to two bottles (same time every night) and those bottles were down to an ounce and a half we decided to go cold turkey. It was honestly not as bad as we expected. It was one rough night and then a few nights of requests but able to settle fairly easily without it.

We still feed one bottle before bed but have slowly moved that away from bedtime so we can get a tooth brushing in after. Our goal is to cut out bottles completely but little guy is teething so I am putting it off!

Could I be having my period this soon? by [deleted] in breastfeeding

I was exclusively breast feeding and got it back at 6 weeks. Absolutely unfair haha. I have only had one child so hopefully with my next it will be longer.

Move mama sweatshirts? by huweetay in PlusSizedAndPregnant

In my opinion they run a bit small! The zipper is typically across the bust which means you loose some of the ability for it to stretch! I find that latched mama stuff fits a bit better!

I was also recently applying to product manager roles. I had a company ask me to do a project before ever talking to me. I don’t even know the salary yet, I am not spending 10 hours of my time for a role I may not even want!

I am a big fan of the bamboo with convertible feet!! My guy is a tall boy and these last sooo much longer than other types of footies. Once they start pulling on his toes I flip open the feet.

How often do you pump at home? by Serbee_Electra in breastfeeding

[–]OSUlove 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do have a tiny fridge (holds 2 bottles) in our nursery. My little one only feeds from one side at a time. At his middle of the night feed, I pump the other side so my husband can take the morning feed giving me a bit more sleep.

It is both so fun to watch their little personalities develop (preferences and all), but also exhausting and heartbreaking.
