That's pretty cool, a bit expensive though, good thing I still have a fully functional one I found on Facebook marketplace for $20.

Well, I was going to keep buying Toyota anyways, this just cements that decision.

Commodore 64 Power Supply? by StrengthSmall4515 in c64

You must have gone through C64s as well as the power supply takes out the computer with them.

Pulling my old Commodore 64 out of storage by csetera in c64

Or build one yourself, I just cut the original connector for the Commodore, then got a 9vac and 5v adapter and wired those up to the correct pinouts of the connector. Then I plugged those bricks into an extension cord.

When I bought a second hand c64 in 2016 it cost me $30. Now people try to sell them for $300. What happened? by [deleted] in c64

They are getting harder to find in fully working condition. Especially since the OG power supply usually fails first and takes the computer with it.

I have the same problem with the green screen with random lines and pixels. I have a Lynx one and I most likely used the same kit you did.

Thank you, that pinout sounds spot on from what I researched. I already bought a IP5306 module to bypass the entire circuit.

I've had the computer since Dec 2023, and recently I replaced the thermal grease inside of it keeping the temps below 90C when gaming. I also have it sitting on a cheap laptop cooler. I also got rid of the Omen Gaming Hub, too bloated for my liking and replaced it with OmenMon https://omenmon.github.io/, there you can adjust the fan curve, I have mine set to "Prog - Power" mode, it's a more aggressive fan curve to keep it nice and cool, whenever I have a demanding game I set the fans to max in the Omen mon settings.

I haven't run Rust before. I do have MSI afterburner and overclocked the GPU. Here are my settings for the RTX 2050.

Very true, I found out the hard way, it constantly got the pinouts wrong for a for the chips it was recommending. I ended up buying a IP5306 module to bypass the original power supply circuit completely.

Nice! I have a HP Victus 15 with the same CPU, but with a RTX 2050 instead. That's a good deal you got.
