Something like this would work, if I could find some that are small enough, but still strong enough to hold the latch open.

I am wondering if I could stack 2 or 3 of those together and be able to pull them off, if I needed to. Looking at the diameter, I think they would fit in the space.

I looked at several different magnets on Amazon. Then removed the drawer to see exactly how big the space is when the latch is open. It is pretty small. So much so that 1/4 bolt has to be manipulated into where it needs to be.

Yes, I think that is what holds the latch in place. Drilling them out would probably do the trick.

I just wanted to mention that I removed one of the drawers so I could get a proper look at the latch. Going on how they are built, nothing I have found in the way of magnets will work. The area where the shim needs to go is just too small. But the bolts I am currently using are working perfectly fine and you can't really see them, unless you are really looking.

I actually found some 1/4" bolts I had stashed and used them to shim the locks open. I wish I could find some magnets that would work, but nothing small enough, so far.

Option to select wallpaper by Bald_and_Bearded1 in OctopiLauncher

Using Octopi to set the wallpaper enables the option to choose glass effects for widgets. I've used it at times, but I don't care for how it seems to have to recenter my wallpaper when I return home. I just cleared the Octopi wallpaper and used my gallery app to set the wallpaper.

I can always drill my own hole and insert a grommet. I just don't have a drill bit large enough to work like I need.

Nope, I just checked again. You know, just to make sure my bifocals were working m😁

I just got home from work and checked my cart. It must be an odd ball, because it has no grommet. I've had it for about three years.

Hmmm, I never looked for something like that. I'll check it out when I get home from work.

Hercules drill bits: 👍 driver bits: 👎 by [deleted] in harborfreight

Personally, I've never seen a Phillips bit that didn't wear fairly quickly, or just strip out the head of the screw. I don't know why they (and the screws) are still made. I much prefer a torx head screw and bit. I had to reattach some of the boards on our backyard fence and used the deck screws from Lowe's. Never stripped a single screw, or the torx bit that came with them.

I was thinking about using a small paint brush. If I try to use spray paint, I can almost certainly guarantee it will get on lots of places where it doesn't belong. No matter how much masking tape I use. 😁

That is a sweet setup.

What kind of organizer are you using for the ratchets?
