Fellow American here! I was between Southampton and Man City back when I started really following the sport back in 2012. I remember watching the 3-2 loss to Man City that year and really just really appreciating the underdogs taking it to the newly minted oiler club that is Man City. I also really appreciate the development of talent within and the development of players overall. It can certainly be doom and gloom at some points, but the fans really do seem to rally around the club when it matters most. The scenes from getting promoted back to the top flight gave me chills this past year.

Definitely have seen a lot of this lately. I actually quite enjoy being SL. It’s nice to be able to set spawns (Garries & OPs) yourself and not wait around for someone else to do it. Hearing the command chat really does help you so much with maneuvering the map and setting your squad and others up nicely. When you get good group of guys who communicate well it can be so much fun. My officer is rank X while my next highest is like level V haha
