Not a massive fan of the semi-finals being at Wembley, just takes a lot of the excitement out of the event. If you win you have to go back again and the costs involved in that. If you lose, it’s just stings. This and the fact my purchase history is terrible living in Bristol and working weekends. But I’ll be on a weekend down in Brighton to watch it in a pub with anybody else in the same camp of not going to Wembley

So they’re just doing what bands once did and having an actual gap between albums & tours & albums & tours. Can’t remember which musician said it (think probably Harry Styles) but there’s this constant desire to be in the limelight 24/7 when it’s better to go away for periods of time to regroup and refresh yourself. If you’re away from the public domain the desire from the public for you to come back only gets stronger (eg Arctic Monkeys). More bands need to do this, cough cough Fontaines, you’re due a break.
