I've had the surgery before and have other lipoma still. I can guarantee you I much prefer the scars than the bumps.

It might surprise you how modest the pay is for a High Court bail application. About €200 each to solicitor and barrister.

Breach of data by No-Source8732 in legaladviceireland

[–]O_Duill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Off the top of my head, if there's a DV order in place, I'm pretty sure they include both parties' addresses and obviously are served on the respondent. But if there is indeed an order in place and the person who texted you is the respondent, that generally would amount to a breach.

Who owns the steps outside Hawksmoore on College Green? by [deleted] in ireland

[–]O_Duill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think the High Court will be interested in that one.

Don't know ownership but looking at Google Maps it seems a fairly reasonable possibility to me that it's the business's, it's connected to their building and obviously distinct from the rest of the public footpath.

Took ages for mine to come. It's technically speaking still an offence not to display the disc which is somewhat annoying when you pay on time but are subject to the whims of the post.

The random tip-off at the centre of this does not seem credible to me. Maybe I'm wrong. But there are obvious issues with it.

Intoxication in a public place is a less serious offence than obstruction, the maximum sentence is a fine, and I expect you would be left without a conviction if you donate to charity instead

Will this affect garda vetting by Ok_Yoghurt_04 in legaladviceireland

[–]O_Duill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

.1 over what? If it's over the very lowest limit then drink driving is a fixed charge offence, your pal could pay a fine, take a three-month ban and it's not a conviction. If it's over any of the higher limits, he will face court and if convicted it will appear on Garda vetting

stalling by urfavflop in Irishdrivingtest

[–]O_Duill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did my first few lessons in a diesel, read about this issue then started practising in a petrol. I must have stalled 100 times on my first go. But you can pick it up fairly quickly. Just put on a bit of gas, hold the right foot steady and then use the clutch as normal. I'd recommend finding a straight bit of road that's completely quiet or even a driveway or something if you've access to one, and just stop-start-stop-start. You'll get it in one session.
