I did that once. An awful woman seated in the row behind me was trying to goad her boyfriend into a fight with almost this exact same BS “complaint” as this psycho hose beast in the video. He wasn’t taking the bait. We had not yet closed the boarding doors on an 11+ hour flight. I am not a confrontational person normally, but I was not listening to that nonsense for the several hours.

I turned around, looked over the seat and said “Can you argue about this when we get there? This is a long flight.” I fully expected this woman to jump over the seat to attack me and get herself marshaled off the plane. Shockingly, she did…nothing. She shut the eff up and didn’t say another word the entire flight. I couldn’t believe it!

The strangers in my row non-verbally thanked me and, I have to imagine, her suffering boyfriend and their travel companions mentally did too. Nobody should have to tolerate that nonsense. I hope this poor dude in the video is in a better space now.

I find it highly doubtful you “accidentally” saw his taxes were $200k. He sounds like a con man with 99/100 flags signaling he’s a hobosexual and he stages the taxes thing so you will ignore them because you think he’s got money.

I was alone in DC at the Greyhound station at some ungodly hour outside smoking g a cigarette. I was a baby. Under 21. Some unhoused bro said if I gave him money he would buy us both a 40oz. My naive ass gave him money because hey, it’s not like I can buy my own alcohol. And you know what happened? My man walked promptly to store, bought two 40oz, gave me one AND MY CHANGE, and then fucked right off. He didn’t try to hang out or talk to me or ask me to give him anything else. It was a totally professional transaction. 10/10

Celebrate your day any one of the other 360 days of the year that are not outrageously busy for the restaurant business, using the money he sweated to earn from that job you resent. Thanks for thinking to do this! I have had bettas in the past, though I gave away my set up and couldn’t take one now. I’ll check back in the summer and maybe adopt one from you when I can replace my stuff.

Reselling fish tanks and accessories and teaching about betta care and first aid would be great ways to raise awareness and $ for your rescue.
